We had my daughter's wedding rehearsal dinner at La Strada last weekend and it was incredible. The staff was friendly, courteous and professional. Food was fantastic. Everything was delicious, there was plenty of it and we had a wonderful variety of choices. The view of the lake was breathtaking. All in all, we had a fantastic experience at La Strada.

Kudos to Joe Mazur and his wonderful staff! All of our guest were also impressed and many have said they plan to return. Thank you quys for everything!

not as expected. the atmosphere looked to be promising considering the location but we were disapointed with not only the service but quality of food! prices were high as well

.. the quality of food was extremly disappointing as well as the customer service. we did not enjoy 3 out of the 4 dishes we ordered, even sent the food back, yet the manager still had us pay our entire bill.

Great Pizza. My wife and I were visiting Lake Lure, which is an absolutely beautiful area set in the mountains of North Carolina. We visited La Strada simply because we were behind schedule and didn't have time to go to the other restaurant we had chosen. However, we were greatly blessed by this turn of events.

As usual, I asked about their specialties and house favorites. The waitress told us of several specials that day and mentioned their lasagna. She also mentioned that many like their pizza. Looking around, I began to notice that several had ordered pizza.

We ordered their "Brooklyn" pizza, adding fresh tomato. Our pizza was excellent! I know that we have been privileged to have experienced some of the best pizza in the world, including Lombardi's of NYC (newyork.citysearch . com/profile/7108110), but we couldn't have been much more pleased with the pizza we ate at La Strada. The crust was great, being just crisp enough and without overwhelming our taste buds with sauce, the ingredients flooded our mouths with flavor.

The service was very good and the decor, including the view was excellent. I don't know about the other items on the menu, but from this first-time experience, we will definitely return to La Strada when we have the opportunity.

Great VIEW. The view was great, one of the locals told us she loved it. When we got there another customer warned about slow service but we had a great waiter. The food was OK, I have had better italian at chains. But it was in the middle of NC, not italy. I did think it was a little too pricey for what we got.
