Important works showcased, knowledgeable staff, close to downtown. I came to this gallery out of recommendation for it's finer photography. I was not dissappointed. Samantha and her helpful staff worked within my range to find a wonderful investment piece. I've worked with galleries before but very few have engaged me with the quality of work such as what I've seen here. The gallery hosts a myriad of pioneers and contemporary photographers - a great selection for my needs. Samantha helped me track down the piece I wanted without the pressure and persuasion. This is a much needed gallery in Nashville that's on par with any museum. Thanks again!

Wonderful gallery with friendly, informative staff. I can't say enough about the great experience I had at the Richter Gallery. There's a fine line between being informative and being pushy; the staff at the Richter Gallery have managed to find that balance. I came into the gallery hoping to find a wedding present for my brother. I had a specific price range and wanted to find a photograph that my brother would love and could hang on his wall for years to come. The Richter Gallery staff helped me find the perfect photograph for my brother and worked within my price range. I know he's going to love the photograph, and I'll definitely return to the Richter Gallery in the future!

Best selection in Nashville. I feel lucky to have found this gallery. Living in Nashville you don?t always get a chance to peruse such a broad selection of top name photographers as Leifer and Cartier-Bresson. Was also surprised by the huge selection of younger, yet quite accomplished, up and coming artist as well.

Great little gallery located in back of a lovely fine gifts and jewelry store on a main Nashville thoroughfare. The knowledgable owner makes herself available at any hour and will help you find works that you did not even know you wanted...she does not make you feel like you have to buy something to earn her service. I highly recommend a stop-by.

A beautiful photography gallery. Richter Gallery of Photography is very special. It's a beautiful photography gallery and represents some of the finest photographers in the world. I am about to move into a new apartment and visited the gallery to help in my decorating efforts. Samantha Richter, the owner, made me feel so at home. She explained the fine art to me and showed me some of the most gorgeous images. I am a huge sports fan - and there are some great works by Neil Leifer there. Whether you need a special gift for someone, are decorating your home or just want to see some amazing works by phenomenal photographers, stop in and visit the gallery. Samantha is filling a huge need in Nashville!!
