Terra Nova...*****FIVE STARS !. Loved this place! We are local but had never gone there until a few weeks ago. We went with another local couple who had been there a few times. This was their "pick", and they were so, so right.... I can't say enough about the food and atmosphere. Terrific! We went on a Friday night, with a reservation. The dining rooms were full, but they had "our" table ready. Very unique for the area, not a pub, not a chain restaurant or "knock off". Genuinely great food with a diverse menu. Fair prices for 'fine' dining. Many seafood dishes... seems like "fish" is coming back into popularity, with good reason if you take a look at their menu! We had a great time with great friends. We were unhurried, and the staff was very attentive. Will go again and again and again....

better choices in the area. Unfortunately Terra Nova does everything right except the execution. Food looks good and sounds creative but the quality just is not there for the price. Pelican Fish is pretty good but you should def check out Carolina Blue in Pitman. Unbelievable beer list for this area, priced right too. The food that I have had (ribs, pork strip, mac and cheese) has been really good.

Great Food, and cool atmoshere at the bar.. I love this place, the food is so good. I don't know what that other guy was talking about, but he ordered a steak Med Well!! Hey buddy, the chef didn't under cook it, he just has too much pride in his work than to let you eat a hockey puck. he was trying to broaden your horizons!!

The food is delicious and not expensive at all. I love the sushi!!! The bar has a great feel to it, and some friday nights in fall and winter they have a 2 person band. I think it used to be Jazz, but they changed the band and they play all classic rock type songs.

The best part is a beer at Terranova is less expensive than a beer at Champps. I was there last night and a Micholob Ultra bottle was $5! WTF!! Its a beer and your champps?!?!?!

If you haven't been to Terrranova, try it, it is so great!

YUM!!!!. My husband and I have been here twice so far. The first time, we went for brunch on Sun. Delish! My daughter's macaroni and cheese was even great!!! We went back for lunch and it was also very very good. This place has become my new favorite without a doubt. Other good ones in the area are Blue Eyes and the Pelican Fish Company. However, Terra Nova is my first choice without a doubt since the menu is 10 times more interesting!

Bar & Jazz. Made a date with my husband last Saturday night. I let my husband choose the restaurant and he chose Terra Nova. I Put my party dress on and was out for the night. This was my first time visiting this restaurant and I must say it was a good choice. The food was great, I didn't feel rushed and the service was outstanding. Just when I thought the night couldn't get any better the Jazz band started playing and we ended up closing the bar. Thanks for a memorable night. Can't wait til next time.

Fabulous New Find!. I recently dined at Terra Nova in South Jeresy and absolutly loved it! My husband and I took a group of eight friends out for a saturday night get together and were very pleased with our experience. The restaurant is beautiful and the atmosphere is warm and cozy. We sat at the "chefs" table in the middle of the dining room which we thought was perfect for us. We had a great time laughing with our server who was very attentative and well knowledged about the menu. The menu was very diverse so we all found something to our liking. The food was fabulous! The management made their presence known by approaching the table to see how our evening was going. After dinner we enjoyed cocktails and wine in the bar as we listened to the live jazz band. The bar was the place to be! We were all very pleased with our choice to dine at Terra Nova and we can't wait to go back!

A+ Taste. I frequent this establishment on a regular basis. I love their jazz band that plays on weekend nights, the food has always been top-notch , and it's my first pick for a place to have a few drinks and something nice to eat. The environment is premium, and has raised the standard of what I expect from a dining establishment! i prefer to be seated at the bar, however, I'd highly commend this placed to anyone.

Good looking restaurant, Horrible Food!!. Horrible! Where do I start? The restaurant did look nice with the Napa Valley decor and the drinks were good, but that's about the only compliments that I can give to this over-price, over-the-bridge wannabe restaurant. The food was horrible. I ordered lobster bisque to start and the bisque had no taste not to mention not one piece of any type of a seafood, hence the name lobster bisque. I then ordered a filet (Med. well) and the filet came out raw inside. It took the "chef's" two tries to get the filet to med and the filet was still bloody. My wife had the angry lobster over paste, which was also very bland with no taste. A glimpse into the open-air kitchen explained volumes. It looked like a Cancun, Mexican resort which explained the no taste, bland food and the lack of knowledge about the American Culinary Art. The owner did walk around the restaurant to "supervise" the operation, but should have been more concerned with the product coming out of the kitchen. The service was not any better. Our waitress was rude and inattentive. During ordering, my son wanted spaghetti and meatballs and was told this was no longer an Italian Restaurant(Previously Italian Bistro) and was now "Fusion Eclectic" and did not offer meatballs with the pasta. She then added 18% gratuity to the check at the end for four adults and two children (8 and 4yrs old). One of which did not order dinner. Total out of pocket experience $226.00 for four dinners, one children?s pasta, one soup, four drinks, no appetizers and no dessert. Truly a disappointment. My advice, GO to BLUE EYES just up the street. Better food with all the over-the-bridge appeal.
