I have the answer for Nashville Bars.. Instead of walking up and down Broadway or Second St. like every other person from out of town, who does not have a clue where to go to have a really good time. There is a answer! We all know, every city in america has a bar or club that is Safe, Friendly and really cool to just let your hair down and have a Blast. In Nashville tn that place is called Ms.Kelli's in Painters Alley. I started going there two weeks ago to have a little fun. after my second time there, they remembered what I drink and my name. Are you Kidding? Im treated like this is my home town Bar. They Have Beautiful Bartenders and a Great Sounding Karaoke System. Ton's of songs! Ton's of Fun.
Best of the Best in Nashville.
I left my hotel looking for something to do. The door man
told me to try Lonnies in Painters Alley. That was a bad
choice. I found it to be one step away from a low cheap
B-Joint. Upon my exit a guy said we have 2.00 bud lite
until 10:00 pm. The price sounded right so I went into a
downstairs bar called Ms Kelli's. The beer was cold and
the sound system Rocked. I talked to the Kj running the
equipment. He told me they had just finished rebuilding
the Setup. I let him know I was a bass player from a old
known band back in the 70's. The KJ named Kat had his
act together. You have to Love the sound of those stack
Mackie Speakers. Next time im back from California this
will be my place to hang. I wont short the Bartenders as
they are as good as that sweet sound of those Mackies.
Best Karaoke Sound System in Nashville.
I was in there with some friends the other night, & we had a great time. I like to sing, so their sound system was the best one I've ever sung on. The bar was clean & very attractive. The ladies room was also very attractive &clean. The pizza & hamburgers were some of the best bar food I've had.
I got to meet Ms. Kelli & her family, plus the head bartender Sherry & they were so friendly to hang out with. My friends & I had a blast. We will definitely go there again soon. I would recommend this karaoke bar to anyone who wants to have a safe, fun place to go with a great atmosphere. 5 stars. :)
Terrible Bar, Bartenders Are Idiots.
My experience at this bar was abysmal. Good luck if you want to pay with a debit card, because they frown upon it and you have to have a $10 minimum to do so. When I got my card out to pay for my beer and start a tab, the bartender said indignantly, "You don't have $3?" What a jerk.
Also, if you do start a tab, good luck if you have an unusual last name (which I do). I had to spell my name multiple times, gave them my first name, middle initial, and the type of card that it was and they still could not locate my card (2 people tried). Fearing they had mistakenly given my card to someone else, I was starting to get really worried. It resulted with their calling me behind the bar (in a rude manner as well) to find my card. I found it almost instantly, which means that their failure to locate it is attributable only to their overwhelming stupidity and ignorance.
Suffice it to say, the cumulative I.Q. of the people that work here is about a 3. Furthermore, they sell a bunch of fried food there, so if you don't want to smell like a cheap funnel cake all night (or smoke for that matter), don't go here. The final nail in the proverbial coffin was the fact that this place had NO A/C (at least not any that is sufficient to cool off a packed bar). My friends and I were sweating bullets the entire time. If you operate a bar in Nashville during July, you need to have air conditioning, you cheap twits.
This is probably the worst bar I've ever been to anywhere (and I've been everywhere from redneck dives out in the sticks to shady rundown bars in Cozumel). Moral of the story: don't go to this bar. Ever. Rude, incompetent staff; terrible atmosphere; and no A/C. Your money is better spent elsewhere, even if that means paying a little more for a Bud Light.
The Owner (Kelli) is a real witch. I was there with my friends over the weekend and most of the bartenders were friendly and fun to talk to until i got to the witch who owned the place.First of all she tried to rip me off on drinks,i called her out on it then she proceeded to drop f-bombs on me and said she was gonna pour my drinks out if i talked back to her..I should of given her a BIG tip for anger management classes, but instead i just let her fume and be the mad bartender that she is,beware of HER!! Scarrrrrry,lol..the crowd was fun and the guy running the Karaoke was cool as well..It was cool until the owner ruined it for us,we wont ever go back....
Not a big crowd, overpriced.. Whenever I've been here there was no one in the bar besides the people in my group. That was great because if your friends wanted to sing karaoke, you'd get the chance to sing for sure. I was born and raised in Nashville and frequent bars that have $8 well drinks. This did not seem like one of those bars that would cost that much for a well drink. However, after an hour at this bar my tab somehow ended up being $114. And I wasn't even buzzed. No one wanted to try to help in figuring out some miscalculations. I will not take any of my out of town friends to this bar ever again. Instead, I'll go to Wanna-Be's (or any other karaoke bar in Nashville) - where your tab will never get out of control like Ms. Kelli's.
BEST KARAOKE BAR EVER!. i recently went in august and it was amazing. the drinks are cheap and the karaoke talent is amazing. there is one kid named "TW", you have to hear him sing. amazing voice! the host and staff are amazing as well!
BEST ALL AROUND ATMOSPHERE WITH JUST THE RIGHT TOUCH OF CLASS. I stopped drinking about 7 years ago, so I wasn't there for the alcohol. My experience at Ms. Kelli's was very much enjoyable. Very clean bar where the atmosphere is lively and respectable, yet having a touch of rugid country in the singers styles. I felt very relaxed and was able to have a great time without having alcohol to enhance the mood or the experiance.
This family-run, no-frills karaoke dive bar lives up to the Printer's Alley neighborhood's lively reputation..
The bar takes its name from Ms. Kelli Joan, the owner's daughter who works nightly and brings the house down on the weekends with her strong set of pipes. While the karaoke usually has a strong country flavor, patrons also sing along to contemporary rock and R&B songs. Quiet during the week, the place is packed weekend nights when extra hands are needed to man the portable sud-serving stations that cater to the late-night college crowd.
