THERE WAS A BUG IN MY FOOD. THERE WAS A BUG IN MY FOOD!!!!

I just recently ate there this week. Everything was going well until I was packing my to go box. In the middle of transferring the food into the box, there was a roach in the box with my food. When I called the waitress to the table she quickly got rid of the box and came back with the check. She tried to completely ignore the issue. I then asked for the manager and the manager came over with her arms folded like she did not want to hear the issue. I explained to her that I found a roach in my food she simply shrugged her shoulders and asked if I wanted another plate to go. Of course I said no thanks. She then proceeded to walk away. I called her back to the table and asked if she was going to do something about the situation. She shrugged her shoulders again and said "I offered you another plate, if you don't want that then..." Unbelievable! She then says with an attitude "OK I will take it off the bill" I was very disappointed of course like anyone else would feel. I did not yell or raise hell like someone else would do. I don't know if she didn't care because I'm African American ( I hate to put that into play) but either way 1. it's gross to find a bug in your food and 2. it's even worse to have a manager who did not show any compassion or an apology for the situation. Of course I do not recommend this place AT ALL. I will also contact the Department of Health.
