Great food with a friendly atmosphere!

Lisa's is three miles from my house, so I go there often. Once a week maybe.

Every single time I have eaten there I have been served excellent food and been greeted with smiling faces. The food is your standard country diner fare: burgers, fries, barbeque, fried chicken.. comfort food. All of it is delicious. Since Lisa's is a bit of a secret to many around here, it is never crowded and all of your food comes promptly. The waitresses are always very friendly and treat you like a human being.

The prices are very good value and the decor is charming.. a bit like a yard-sale version of Cracker Barrel without all the old ads and photos. There are numerous cute sayings on the walls, like, "A balanced diet is a cookie in both hands." Your food will come to you before you finish looking at them all!

Best of all, if you are in Jefferson City, you aren't far away at all! It's a shame it's not on the main highway.. or else their business would be better.
