Day time chillin, Nights are FUN – GREAT service from friendly staff and fun with a little twist. Sometimes relaxed, sometimes kinetic atmosphere. Most affordable drinks in town. Friendly and helpful (sometimes quirky) staff. Bartenders-Randy "good o" boy", Mitchell "real master mixer", Glen "smile and a joke", Grady(sue) "watch yer manners" and Kevin "strait/married but friendly", are all happy to see you every time, but remember WATCH YOUR MANNERS. It is almost a guarantee they'll be watching "ELLEN" at 3 M-F on the BIG flat screen.Titan games can be watched there as well. Music is an eclectic and fun mix prepared as a labor of love by a DJ"D" (but he may not want to talk about it) & a juke box if you have money to burn. There's a screw for every nut (and you'll likely run into a bunch of nuts looking...) but it's ALWAYS entertaining. Check the attitude at the door and be real. Meet some friends or make some new ones. Great Patio area at one end w/ a pool table, bowling game & two dart boards at the other. RESPECT yourself and others, then you'll guarantee FUN!
The Best Neighborhood Bar – Sorry one person had a bad time. It is just a neighborhood bar with average people there. The Deck and Patio areas are spacious with cookouts and fundraisers all through the summer. We are home to the Raptors Group who does fundraising for Alive Hopspice and other worthwile charities. We also host fundraising for Nashville Cares through Conductors L&L Club as well as the local leather run.
We do have limited parking out front, but have the two gravel lots adjacent to the bar for our patrons and for other bars close to ours.
Come visit us and our sister bars within the gay community the Stirrup and Purple Heys . Other bars are on Church Street and not far if you want to bar hop.
Rowdy – My word. I can't even imagine what must go on here at night. I stopped by one afternoon to discover the "patio" was more like a back porch, the bar was more like somebody's kitchen, and the patrons were frankly a bit frightening. I think the building is a mobile home with additions tacked on. Before I could finish my martini, I was cornered by a rowdy man who babbled incoherently about prison life. Needless to say, I left before the sun had a chance to set!
Neighborhood Bar – Walking into Trax is like walking into Cheers, go there enough and they remember who you are. The staff is always friendly and willing to present you with your favorite libation. The atmosphere is that of a neighborhood type bar with flat screens for trivia as well as your favorite sports team. Nice size front bar area with pool table and darts as well as a dart board in the back room. There is even a huge back patio where they have cook-outs during the summer. The parking lot is a little small, but there is a dirt lot behind it to park in.
