Thanks pamperedgirl for HONEST REVIEW...STAY AWAY!!!! – It seems there are some bad reviews about this place, then some that appear to be added by someone affiliated with Dermess, just to off-set the bad reviews. However, pamperedgirl hit it out of the park with her review. THIS PLACE IS BAD! Yes, they are a rip off... and on top of that, they can and DO cause serious and permanent scars on some patients. I went in for IPL and came out with horrible burns! When the burns healed I was left with permanent scars. No atty in Nashville would take case, but I did find a firm in Houston that works w/a local atty to file the papers. However, it had been more than 1 year, so I'm scarred and out of luck legally. I know I can't be the only one they have scarred. Contact me via this review and I will give you the name and phone number of an atty in Houston who WILL take your case if they have DISFIGURED you. They should be shut down. I wish I had found the atty sooner. It would not have healed the scars though. Those will be with me FOREVER! BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!!!
NOT WHAT I EXPECTED....FELT CHEATED – Not happy with the facial I got. While the esthetician could have done the "medical facial" (definitely not relaxing) in a more gentle, feel good kind of way, she didn't. It was supposed to be sixty minutes. She was done in 45. That is a rip off and false advertising. Also, she just slapped cold products on my face. They could have been warmer and been applied in a less startling way! No "finesse" WHATSOEVER! I laid on the bed and froze til I FINALLY asked for a blanket to cover me. I could not BELIEVE I had to ask in the first place! I really feel like this woman (tall blonde that obviously had a frozen face in her fifties) (but then they all look fake and "frozen" when you walk in...it is rather alarming!) did not care or even TRY to have me be a repeat customer.....forget it! Go somewhere else...oh, and I almost forgot...while I was waiting in the waiting room to be seen, some lady came out and started talking to me about botox! What??? Telling someone they might want to get botox? Just because they are all PLASTIC looking like the Housewives of Atlanta, doesn't mean that I, at the age of THIRTY!, need to start injecting poison into my face! Why would I WANT to look like them????????
Don't believe the bad reviews? Keep going. You'll find out. – This place is, like the previous reviewer said, not worth considering for anything other than possibly buying products or getting a B-12 shot. I have seen it first-hand. For those of you who just "love" going there, by all means, keep it up. You are guaranteed to end up looking like a freak!! But maybe that is the look you are going for?? And in my experience, anyone who proclaims their Christianity to promote their business is exploiting it for financial gain, and truth be known, they can be some of the most shady people to do business with. I've seen it time and time again.
Wow – I am not believing the 2 awful reviews that I read. They are definately not talking about the Dermess Renewal that I know. I've been a customer for 9 years now. I have always came to Terri for my fillers and Botox...or to some...NON-Industrialized lubricant. lol Whatever that means.
The staff at Dermess has always treated me like family and I will NEVER feel cofortable going anywhere else. I have found a special place with special people and a true Christian atmosphere. I am very happy and are very surprised that anyone would say they felt different.
HOTTEST IN TOWN – Dermess is THE BEST place in Nashville to be the woman you are! You feel you are among friends who know how to address YOUR concerns and not "SELL."
I spent a week at Eizabeth Arden Spa in Scottsdale, AZ, it has nothing on Dermess! One of the first in Nashville and still the best! Do try it, you will love it, AND the results. Terri and all the staff are the best, the new Doctor is HOT! HELLO!
AMAZING SERVICE! – Dermess is a very professional spa with alot to offer. They are run by a medical doctor and also employees RN's as well as Aesteticians. I did ALOT of reserch before going since I heard of them word of mouth. They are a very knowledgeable staff who will take time to answer all of your questions. I've now had three procedures done and wouldn't dare go anywhere else. My dermatologist even speaks highly of them.
If You Value Your Face, Don't Go Here!! – This place should be shut DOWN!! They are messed up people and give messed up services!! Don't be fooled by the cutsie/nice reception they will give you... they are in a BASEMENT!! Need I say more??? I have posted pictures under "Gallery" above of what they did to my chest that was supposed to be an "IPL" procedure to correct sun damage. What I got were permanent scars! And they fail to acknowledge that they set the machine TOO HIGH! Said it was my fault for having sun damage!
DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER THIS PLACE! – I wish I had done more research. However, there is not much out there on this place. Just take my advise, or only have minor things here, like B12 shots, not laser or injectibles. You will end up looking like a freak!!
Decadent Service – Absolutely 5 star service! Fm the moment that you escape fm the real world into the Dermess lobby, there is one word that describes your experience..Decadent.. The facials by Deborah or Tammy or the procedures by Terri and Connie are the best. You are treated as if you are the only person in the spa. You will feel as if you have been renewed!! Be renewed be refreshed.. experience renewal at Dermess!!
