Vandy Boy With a Guitar. A rich Vanderbilt guy strummed his guitar as we enjoyed our cheap Coors brew. The Crescent Cafe & Oyster Bar has been around for awhile, so I'm surprised noone has commented on it. It's a combo music gig place and eatery. Pub grub like burgers and fried unknown stuff is more popular than the oysters. I guess virile Vandy boys and girls don't need the help. Since it's right across 21st avenue from the Vandy library it a nice spot to take a food break. Sometimes it seems to get a residual crowd from the SATCO mexican place next door. We didn't tip the guitar guy, but bought him a Heineken.
