One of Hannibals many treats
by MrPaix
Moving here from Southern California, I have had some great Mexican food, and eating in Mexico as well I enjoy good south of the boarder food. I would not say its the best I have ever tasted, but it certainly is a good restaurant and for the area it is fine. the better choices for me is the asada or any chicken dishes. The ground beef is verrrry mild so if you don't want heat or too much flavor (if you cant handle real Mexican heat) stick to that. chips n salsa are good. Cheese sauce on many items is a nice touch. Beer and mixed drinks are cheap and good.

I live in Hannibal and everybody knows if u want mexican food this is the best place. If you dont know that u need to get out more.
They do it right: The building is clean, the waiters are nice, and the food is great. If u have never had a margarita from here u need to!
- Pros: Excellent Food, BEST MARGARITAS!!!, Clean Building
Good stuff!

I am from Lawrence KS and we have some very good Mexican restaurants. I was very surprised to find a very good place like this in Hannibal! Fast service too!
my fave mexican place :)

This is my FAVE place to eat. I love the queso dip with the chips instead of the regular salsa! My favorite dish is the tamales. The owner told me that his little mexican mother actually makes them, they are sooo good. For dessert i like the flan, the owner also told me his mom makes that too. He's a really nice guy, so are the waiters usually. Go on your birthday--they put a sombrero on you and sing to you and bring you a free dessert!
- Pros: definitely the food, really nice people that work there!
- Cons: cant really think of any at the time
One word: Awesome.

This is the best mexican food i have eaten since I moved to missouri. I used to live in Texas so i know alot about Mexican and Tex-Mex food and the food here is the closest thingyou will find to any restaurant within 50 miles of the US/mexico border. Awesome. My waiter was awesome too, he was on top of things but at the same time he was not so up inmy face that i couldn't enjoy my meal. They had some good imported mexican beers (less than $3 a bottle for an import--awesome!!) and with the amount of food they gave me i had enough to take my leftovers home and turn that dining experience into about 2 or 3 separate meals.
- Pros: FOOD is great, cheap/really good drinks, Service
- Cons: It's usually pretty packed on a friday night, so if you don't like crowds go on another night
