Citysearch Editorial Review.
After a total makeover of the interior of the restaurant and exterior of the road-side Vietnamese strip mall in which it’s located, it feels like a completely new--and decidedly less fussy--location. That’s not to say there’s much ambiance now ... just a basic one-room square lined with large round tables and booths ... but what the dining room lacks in coziness or panache, the kitchen makes up for in taste and value. Mountains of traditional Vietnamese noodle soups and rice dishes appease the palates of Asians and Americans looking for a little Pacific comfort in a bowl. And whatever questions those Yanks might have about the thick menu or Vietnamese culture they can ask of their patient native servers, presuming they can understand them through their first-generation accents.
