Friendly and Attentive.
I'm shocked by the negative reviews here. While I'm sure some of them are legitimate, I think some of them are just bridezillas. One girl here is upset because they wanted her to pay for alterations. Everybody charges for alterations. It's ridiculous to expect that service for free, especially considering how skilled their seamstress is.
I'm glad I went to Country Way. I'm not saying I had a perfect experience. I got my gown there and my flower girl dresses, and the fg dress sizes were pretty far off. However, Yvonne and her mom were not rude or evasive in dealing with it. As far as my gown was concerned, it was a sample. They gave me an amazing discount on it, and the seamstress returned it to pristine condition. They were more than friendly and attentive everytime I called or went in -- before and after they got my money.
I think the important thing to remember is that things go wrong all the time in any business. Choosing a dress should be the very 1st thing you do when planning your wedding, so that if there are mistakes you can fix it.
Exactly what I wanted.
I live close by this store and stop in occasionally to see whats new. They have some great dresses. I was attending a black tie affair. Yvonne (the owner) waited on me. She knows her stuff. She's knowledgeable and very straight-forward. She told me what was good for my shape and coloring. I felt very confident dealing with her and her shop. The dress came in on time and was exactly what I was looking for. I have read these other reviews and am very surprised. I had nothing but a great experience and will tell all friends and not just brides. Thank you to Yvonne and the other women who helped me from Country Way.
PS. Be patient the store is busy.
Greatest Experience Ever.
Okay, this store has totally been the highlight of my bridal expirience. I went to all the bridal stores in the area and a couple in Phila. Country Way knew exactly what would look good on me, and allowed me to try on anything I wanted without any questions.Same when I went for my bridesmaids dresses.
They were honest and had great sugestions. They acted the same way when they got my money and everytime I went in after. I have to say the negative reviews couldn't be more wrong.
Yvonne came to the church to see me walk down the isle. She's real and her store is great. So if you want a great expirience go to Country Way, YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY.
Thank you Yvonne and Linda. My whole expirience at your store couldn't have been better.
"I have had nothing but a great experience at this store. Lin was sweet and very honest. I really loved all the gowns and tried alot on. Kelsy was working with another bride. After she saw all the gowns I chose and saw them on me, she said ""do you mind trying on this dress, I think its what your looking for"". I tried it on and it was the one. It was perfect. My mom bought it for me and Lin gave us the veil for free!!
She asked me to review the store, which I was only too glad to do. They are fantastic . I have already brought a co-worker here to look. I will tell everyone I know, what a satisfying exerience it has been working with Lin and Yvonne.
Don't belive the BS negative reviews. I had gone to 3 other bridal stores prior to coming to Country Way, they couldn't touch my experience here!"
Nothing short of excellent. My first impression of Country Way WOW. First they had the prettiest dresses. The buyer is great. Second they had so many BM's dresses to choose from. Third, They were very nice and not stuffy at all. Everything did not go smooth, but they remained sweet sincere and not rude in the least bit. When my dress came in it was a little on the tight side, but the seamstress who is excellent took it out for me. My BMs dresses came in a month before the wedding, but that was because we ordered late. I was floored to read the negative reviews because EVERY single employee and owner was nothing short of EXCELLENT. Must be alot of Bridezilla's out there. I actually feel kind of sorry for the employee's to have to put up with some of the nasty women who come in there.
Loved this place. When I first read these reviews I was shocked. I had already ordered my dresses( for my bridesmaids) 12 dresses. So needless to say I was worried. I called and spoke with Yvon and she reassured me she would everything in her power to make certain that our experience was a good on at her store. Our dresses came in 7 weeks brfore my wedding and ALL dresses were beautiful. some of the sizes were a little on the bigger size, but Yvon explained the size chart and the way the measurements work better for girls who are more proportioned. I wish I would have bought my wedding gown here. Everyone in the store was very patient and friendly. The seamstress was very good. I have nothing but good things to say about Country Way. I guess everyones experience is differrent. Loved this store and will tell all my friends about it!
great time working with the staff.
"Ok all I can say is wth! I got married in June and bought my dress from Country way. I can say in ALL honesty , I had a great time working with them. Everyone in the shop was pleasant and nice. My veil came in late but I wasn't,t going to sweat it. It sounds like a lot of these negative reviews are from bridezilla's! I mean you just can't sweat the small stuff, people. I'm fortunate my day was perfect and this store and it employee's helped it to be memorable. I am a bride who would
recommend this store."
They were really awesome!!!!. I stopped by this store on a Saturday without an appt. they we're very nice and allowed me to look through the selection. Which was very beautiful. They were busy however Kelsey let me try on gowns. I brought my mom back the following week. We ended up buying my gown. I got my 4 bridesmaids dresses here and flowergirls dress. I can't say enough great things about Kesey , Lisa and Ivon. They know fashion and helped me with everything. I am happy to say I got married in June and my wedding was everything I'd hoped it would be. I have read the negative reviews and can only tell the great experience I've had here. I never ever saw one bit of bad customer service or waiting for my dresses to come in. Kelsey ask me to give the shop a review and I can say they were really awesome!!!!
I can't say enough about Country Way. My sister ordered her bridesmaids gowns here and I can't say enough how great Country Way was. Yvonne was extremely helpful, going above and beyond what normal shop owners do. She even discussed flower options with us! It was really nice that someone spent the extra time to help us choose the best dresses, even when we came in nearly 5 times before we purchased! The rest of the staff, including Lynn and Kelsey were always friendly and returned our phone calls promptly when we had questions. The seamstress Seftop was excellent and we got so many compliments on the gowns. Frankly, i was surprised to read some of the bad reviews. Besides, anyone I know who adamantly claims to NOT be a bridezilla or a "witch" most likely IS one to begin with. Country Way made us feel welcome and always provided helpful info when some salons barely said hello to us. If stuck up is not your style, I defiantly recommend Country Way.
Terrible Experience. I too never write negative reviews but I wanted to let people know about my terrible experience with Country Way bridal. Despite having a great selection of beautiful dresses I strongly urge you NOT to use Country Way. I ordered six bridesmaids dresses from Country Way only to find out weeks later that the color I had ordered was no longer available. I then found another color and had each of my bridesmaids sized. The dresses were projected to come in by June 1st, however they still weren't in by June 30th. I began calling the first week of July and was promised the they would be there any day. I called every few days after that and was told that they would be in "that afternoon or tomorrow at the latest." The dresses did not arrive until the end of July, less than three weeks prior to my wedding (which was across the country), leaving little time for alterations. But the real problem was that once the dresses came in, 5 our of the 6 did not fit my bridesmaids at all!! Two dresses had to have 4" panels put in as they were ordered at least two sizes to small (Country Way did the measurements and ordered the supposedly appropriate sizes). One dress was far too big and another dress was ordered in the 'extra length' size only to have 15 inches of the bottom lopped off. We were forced to make the alterations, which doubled the cost of the dresses from $225 each to over $400 each. Finally, Country Way would take absolutely no responsibility for the issue. Do not use Country Way, there are too many other good bridal salons out there (like the one where I bought my dress -- I'm so lucky I didn't find my dress at Country Way!!).
