In Short
A lush hanging garden covers one wall at this spa as a tribute to the brand's purely botanical products. Breathing in the clean air, clients first sit down and view magnified video of their hair follicles so specialists can decide what to prescribe--from thirst-quenchers to oil regulation. Each treatment room is personal and private, fully equipped from sink to dryer (so the client never has to leave) and separated from other "cabins" by 14th century French chateau shutters.

My Girl friend and I went for a FREE ANALYSIS... LOVED It... Met w/MARINA... LOVED her. She told us what was best for each of us. We are both African-American & swear by weekly visits to the Dominican hairdresser, spending on high end products. We have different hair routines for the wrap & go style. I relax my mane every 6-8 wks, a slave to the chemical. I wear a ponytail or bun 3-4x wkly min. Marina explained how it weakens the hairline & you can lose that hair forever. My friend stopped relaxing her mane 5yrs ago & dropped buns & ponytails all together she just gets, color, wash, treatments, blowdried, & wrapped. She is Free & Truly RELAXED! Her hair hair under the microscope was GREAT & Smooth except for a few split ends & natural build up. Mine showed rugged structure due to relaxing. Marina thoroughly explained what we're doing right and what to due to counter balance any damage we have. I went in terrified, thinking I was going bald from shedding so badly, she explained it was natural (100 per day) but showed me 2 & 3 strands growing out of one folicle. Marina put our minds at ease handling us with superb care. It wasn't about the sale or telling us how BAD our hair was. She was genuinely concerned about healthly hair and how to improve upon our daily maintenance. We discussed the Phytospecific Relaxer which I bought despite her telling me I too can stop relaxing & the cost. I'm still enslaved because I don't have any one to help me with weekly care needed for unrelaxed hair. I highly recommend seeing a professional at Phyto or anywhere else that is objective and unbiased having your hair's health first . Ask questions and do a lot of research on all products you use, most have great 800 customer service lines. Our normal beauticians do what's best for their weekly process of assisting us w/our weekly routine which is why I still get a perm. One day with Phyto's help I too will be FREE & TRULY RELAXED... No more "Mami you need a touch-up!
Pros: Very Knowledgeable, Listened Well, Professional
Cons: Pricey, but healthy glowing hair is PRICELESS!

AVOID LADIES. TOOK MY MONEY AND THE SERVICE WAS NOT UNACCEPTABLE. I PAID FOR SOMETHING WHICH I DID NOT RECEIVE AND THE ATTITUDE WAS THE BASIC TOO BAD. I PAID FOR A HAIR RELAXER WHICH DID NOT WORK. IT TURNED INTO A VERY EXPENSIVE ($280) BLOWDRY.
Pros: Ambience
Cons: The rude manager who is insulting. She needs a class in basic customer service
