A surprise in downtown Walla Walla. We discovered this place while walking around downtown Walla Walla and had lunch here on a trip to Walla Walla. Sweet Basil serves NY style pizzas (thin crusts). Slices were reasonably priced and quite tasty. Like many of the restaurants in New Zealand, this restaurant provides a bottle of cold drinking water for your table instead of tap water. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Great pizza, great service, great price!. Sweet Basil serves some of the most tasty thin-crust, New York style pizza I've ever tasted! The price is cheap (especially with a student discount), the beer is delicious, and the atomosphere is romatic and warm. The vegetarian pizza toppings are inventive and wonderfully seasoned. The service is always friendly and both pizza and calzones are served promptly after order, even when the restaurant is busy. My only complaint is that Sweet Basil is closed on Sundays and Mondays!

Really good pizza.. We love coming here as a treat. It's always busy but has a laid-back atmosphere. Nice seating outside when it's warm. We haven't strayed much from the Italiano Pizza. Awesome lunch special of a piece of pizza & a great side salad. Small menu selection but well made up for in quality. Nice place overall.
