was one of my favorites. This was one of my favorite places to eat in york. the wait was never long and the food was good. We decided to return there since the wait at olive garden was so long. At the time our wait was 20-25 minutes. We noticed some spots come open at the bar so we made our way there and sat down. My wife ordered a diest coke, I ordered a tropical twisted tea and my sone odered a virgin strawberry dacari.

We asked for menus and picked out what we wanted and asked the barteender if wwe could remain here and order our dinner. She said yes you may, so I returned the pager back to the front waiting area, and was taken off list. Within 5 minutes we were asked to leave the bar area and were informed that noone under the age of 21 is allowed to sit at the bar. I really would have appreciated it if i was informed 15 minutes prior to ordering drinks and getting ready to order our dinner.

We then asked when we would be seated, The I guess manager said she would check into adn returned and said there was only two people in front of us. As we left the bar area and began our wait, they seated three other groups before us, again I had to aske about being seated, the manager said she had to remind the hostess again.

Finally being seated we ordered dinner and it seamed as if it took forever to get our dinner to our table. I ordered thew ny strip with red wine and mushroom topped. My son ordered the buffalo and the buffaque wings, and my wife ordered the combo smoked brisket and turkey.

My wife said hers, was bland, my sons wings were good especially the Buffaque wings. My steak was verry bland and over cooked to my liking.

Did we just have bad night at smokey Bones?

Or did just the fact of the bartenders not doing their job irritate me??

Like I said it was one of my favorites and it might be awhile before i return as a customer.
