Great selection but so-so customer service.
I visited in August 2008. One young lady I encountered among the shrubs and perennials was very helpful in dscribing plants to fit my demands. However, she couldn't give prices if they weren't on the plants. They did have a great selection of plants compared to other nurseries I had visited in Lexington.
She sent me to the service desk for help and I had to wait a while for someone to wait on me. The young man acknowledged he didn't know much about the plants and pricing but did give me their list so I could check it against my notes. He wasn't unpleasant but it would have been nice for him to show more excitement and interest in his job and in giving better service to his customers.

horrible customer service. During my last visit to Wilson Nurseries, the customer service was horrible and the employees were not friendly. I walked by three employees who did not even acknowledge me or ask if I needed help. It really has gone down the drain since Charlie (the founder) is gone.
