A cheap, addictive, tasty journey. Ahh, Shiraz. How I love thee. Let me count the ways. First off, the staff is so nice. On top of that they give you small samples if you're new. (But just like the illegal stuff, the first one is always free). Once you have tasted all the food, you are hooked! Luckly, my addiction is cheap. I am personally fond of the chicken kabobs. They are always so juicy; I always order it with rice instead of bread. It is a good meal for under 8 dollars. Another tasty, cheap treat are their falafel. I gave my mom one and she is hooked too...and she is very much the classic meat and potatoes type lady. One of my favorite I'm- broke- but- I- need- something-filling meals is a bowl of hummus with the lavash. Under four dollars and the flavor is really good. But, be careful, it is so flavorful, you tounge can go numb without the bread. Again, I love Shiraz.
Great Persian food. Today I ventured out to Shiraz....I have been looking for an outstanding joojeh kabob (chicken) since Manoosh's closed. Today I found something pretty close. The rice was moist with sort of a buttery creamy goodness. The chicken was extremely tender and popping with flavor. The meal has left me wanting more for the rest of the day and can not wait for a return visit. I highly recommend a visit to Shiraz.
