Only go if you have several hours to waste!. My dryer recently went out and I am moving soon, so I don't want to replace it until then. I wash my clothes at home and then take them to the laundromat to dry, which usually does not take very long. Suds Bucket is the closest coin laundry facility near me, so I started out going there. I've only went 3 times and each time I go, more dryers are broken. There are now less than half their dryers that are not out of order! This is within a time-span of 3 weeks and none have been fixed yet. You would be lucky to get one dryer at a time, so if you take more than one load, plan to sit there for a while! The only reason I had gone back is because they make you use a card that you load with money to pay, and I had a large balance left. I will NEVER go back! Totally frustrating....as if laundry wasn't frustrating enough alone!
DO YOUR OWN LAUNDRY!!!.
I dropped laundry off at this facility after a major illness left me behind in my housework and laundry. I even paid extra for them to use Cheer because I am allergic to so many others. After picking up my laundry and opening the bags to put away the clothes, I was about knocked over by the smell! I am an asthmatic so needless to say, I don't smoke. And of course, I guarantee my 7 year old doesn't smoke. So WHY would my supposedly freshly washed laundry smell like smoke??
I took the laundry back up to the laundromat. No one could tell me WHY my clothes smell like that and no one can give a refund without owner consent. Of course, the owner says NO REFUND because it is supposed to be a non-smoking facility. And the lady who claims to have properly washed my laundry wants to argue with me when I tell her I don't want to talk to her, i want a refund from the owner! I believe this is irresponsible on the part of the owner to leave employees in charge who have no authority to make a decision and then won't even practice good business and take care of the problem themselves in a timely manner.
So, as of now I have filed a compaint with the BB, I am out $50 bucks so far and I STILL have to catch up on the laundry. Sad to say, my complaint apparently isn't important enough to be dealt fairly with by this business.
