We were so happy. We were amazed at the condition of the hardwood floors under our wall-to-wall carpeting that had outlived it's purpose. Raphael (Josh) was able to bring back the original finish and add new hardwood flooring to other rooms that when completed the difference between the old & the new was indistinguishable. We feel that hardwood floors will maintain their value longer than any other floor covering we considered. We are satisfied that the investment was well worth it. The quality of craftsmanship is evident in the finished product. The hardwood floors are the first thing remarked about when visitors enter our house. Raphael reliably and dependably, went to extraordinary lengths to complete the project within the prescribed time limits in spite of contractor scheduling conflicts beyond his control. We would definitely use Raphael Hardwood Flooring again and are entirely comfortable in recommending Raphael to our friends. It was a pleasure dealing with Raphael throughout the project. Best Place for miles and miles for hardwood flooring. The people working for this company are absolutely amazing and very professional. I recently had my part of the floors in my house refinished and had another room installed with new floors.

After having an estimate, I wanted to make sure I was doing my research so I had a few more bids but nobody compared to where RHF did.

I would recommend them to any of my friends or family!

Not What We Were Expecting. We had problems with RH Flooring right from the start. There were issues with leveling our floor prior to installation and once installation was complete we noticed cracks and squeaks in our engineered bamboo floor when we stepped on them and many low spots that we would "sink" into when stepped on. We were overchared for the transitions that were installed incorrectly, as they split (I'm assuming the nails were too big). We were told we had to order them and have them overnighted for $375. I later found them at Home Depot for $80. After the installation we got a call that they needed to collect the balance and we let them know about the problems we were having with the floor and we would not pay until they were fixed. The owner became irritated but finally agreed to fix them so he could collect the check. They tried to fix the issues, but after they left with our check we discovered more cracks. I contacted RH Floors on 3 more occasions with no response. We decided to contact the BBB and file a complaint. Once they received the complaint they were eager to come out and fix the issues, but by then we didn't want to give them a third try because we had to replace materials out of our own pocket (we purchased the flooring at another place and RHF only installed it). The BBB felt we needed to give them another chance to remedy the situation and because we didn't, they unfortunately closed our case (without even seeing our floor). We feel the BBB prefers to side with the businesses that pay their membership fees. This way businesses can potentially avoid litigation. Our next step is to file a complaint with the Department of Consumer Afairs and to investigate going to small claims court. This company had many stellar reviews and we thought we made the right choice. The actual installers were very kind but just didn't have the skills to do the job correctly. Now we are out over $4000.00 with a bad floor and no warranty on the floor we purchased because it was installed incorrectly. *note the dates of these other reviews-the ones that came after mine (4 on the same day and 1 on the following). There was only 1 in 2008 and one in 2009. I think the owner had to call in some favors after my negative review!

They Saved My Floors!. Unbelievable! I thought my hardwood floors were too old and damaged to restore.... man was I wrong. Raphael Hardwood Flooring was a breath of fresh air. They actually did what they said they would do which now a days is pretty rare. They came out right when I originally called to get an estimate. Raphael Hardwood Flooring was one of 3 estimates I got during this process prior to selecting them. The estimate they submitted was above and beyond the other 2 companies estimates. I think the biggest difference for me was how broke down their bid was. It explained everything that they were going to do. They were professional and polite from day one. I would recommend them to anyone. Great company all around!!

We were very happy with the professional way you handled the job, from the bid to completion of the job we always felt you were doing your best for us. We had many time constraints and you worked so well with us. We were so impressed with the dust containment system. I had expected there to be lots of dust with all the sanding and was so pleasantly surprised at how little mess there really was. I would highly recommend you and your workmanship to anyone looking for someone to put in their hardwood floors.
