Awesome food. By far the pizza is one of a kind. I've read how the sauce isn't much in flavor, but in my opinion it compliments the ingredients. This is a great sports bar, too. I go to the Baxter location every Sunday for NFL. It's a great place to hang out with the regulars. Highly recommend this pizza.

WICKS WOCKS!. I have had pizza from San Francisco to Blue Ridge Summit, PA and THIS is the best Pizza by far. The Dixie Hwy location rocks with murals from local artists and a friendly crew. AND they deliver to my house! OUTSTANDING! What I appreciate the most is the smoke-free family area. Wicks Wocks!

Not what i was expecting. Everyone said the Pizza is the best but I found it not even close. I love flavorfull sauce and they use little sauce. I love greasy chease I found the cheese being hard, and the crust had no flavor. Thumbs down. I have found other pizza places in the area to be much better, so before you settle for Wicks look around a little bit more.

Wicks is a winner!. The price for the Big Wick may scare you, but the quality and taste are worth it. Wicks is a favorite of my family and friends the Cajun BBQ Pizza Bread is to die for. If you are tired of the same old pizza and want to add some spice to your life then try Wick's and you won't regret it. Just be warned that once you try it you will keep coming back for the great taste!

This unpretentious neighborhood hangout is big on mountains of fresh toppings for its pies.. The Scene
Waiters in tie-dyed T-shirts sling pizza and beer and groove to classic-rock radio. A huge, brightly colored mural surrounds the dining room, and live music spills over from the pub. The laid-back attitude of Wick's is a perfect match for the Highlands.

The Food
Add mountains of fresh toppings and a powerful sauce to chewy thin crust, and you get what some believe to be pizza heaven. The smothered Big Wick has everything but the kitchen sink: You can't take a bite without toppings spilling out from the blanket of cheese. Even a picky eater's two-topping pie overflows with goodness. From the garden or chef salads (enough for two) to the pizzas, all portions are huge; you almost always have leftovers. The pizza reheats so well, it tastes just like it came fresh from the oven.

It's not that good.. It's obvious these reviews come from folks who haven't had many pies outside of Louisville. Anybody with a breath who has had pizza anywhere outside of the 'Ville could tell you this place couldn't survive for about a year.

A bland-salty-mess of a sauce (tomato paste with a bit of spice) destroys this mess. The crust is good and toppings plenty, but again, the sauce KILLS Wick's pies.

The service is great and the owners are SUPER nice, but, try Bearno's or, sadly, Papa John's.

WOW...JUST WOW. The food was awesome. Not only the pizza, but even the appetizers are almost a meal in themselves. If you want a great pizza or just a great dining experience, Wick's is the place for you.

Best in the World. If you want pizza..then this is it. I've only eaten there 3 times. In my opinion the best Pizza in the Midwest and probably the Nation!

Big Wick is my pick. There is only one word to describe great pizza -- Wick's. Louisville residents living outside the Highlands got lucky when Wick's decided to expand into the suburbs.

YUMMY. This place is great! Good thick pizza with lots of toppings. To compliment your thick pizza are equally impressive topping portions. Nothing is small with the pizza. Wicks was my college hang out for 4 years. Excellent pizza was normally served with great selection of beer and one of the best Makers Mark whiskey sours I ever consumed. Pizza, beer, and live music... what more do you need to pass the time between Derby's?
