Just short of rude. The food was decent enough, but the service was terrible. I counted eleven staff and fifteen customers on the Monday night I went, and I still had trouble getting the bartender's attention. Several off-duty employees came in while I was there, and the staff spent a lot of time hanging with the off-duty staff.

The bartender was just a little on this side of surly when I ordered, and had a bit of an attitude.

My beer was warm and flat as well.

That said, the food was OK. I ordered a cheeseburger, which was cooked the way I ordered it. However, the lettuce and tomatoes were tasteless and there was precious little cheese on my cheeseburger.

So don't bother eating at Bistro 301 unless you're in town for a convention and are not adventurous enough to venture into another part of town for better food.

Two stars, but only because my burger was cooked medium rare, as I ordered it.

brassy waitresses. Went to the spaghetti factory for lunch, but they weren't open, so we went across the street to Deke's I think it has been renamed since. I think our waitress had an attitude and when she wasn't busy she sat at the bar and smoked which was nasty. don't touch my food after that eww..

great bar food. ended up here only because spag factory next door was a 20 min wait for lunch at 11:45 am (20 mins for spaghetti?? uh, no thanks) regardless, had a buffalo chicken sandwich and a bowl of soup for lunch at deke's. THIS is how it's supposed to be. Hot and hearty soup, good sandwich (with a REAL bun, go figure..) and hot fries. it's amazing how many other places i've been that can mess that meal up - but not here. lunch food was great, serivce was quick and friendly - would definitely pass on spag factory for deke's in the future. The only con i can say is that we sat in the bar area near the door and the cold air kept rushing in as more customers entered. not very comforting on a cold day outside so keep that in mind when visiting during the colder days.

Dekes is great. The Best food i have ever tasted, the service staff was excellent, great location
