Went to Joes on vacation for first and last time while on vacation, We were seated right away outside because no very busy at all and waitress had taken are order right away then down hill from their. Over 25 minutes for a water and 1 drink from bar, Then food can after we order 40 minute later , We both order just sandwiches and when came no lettuce or tomatoe for are sandwiches that we wanted on the side. So 7 minutes later we got them with are mayo and of course no silverwear to use also. So i asked for silverwear and she brings me silverwear unwrapped not in napkins just handed them to me, did she wash her hand before handlening my silverwear ? I got the manager because a nice couple sat down behind us because they have been their for at least 30 minutes and not even got to place their order or received any water. My bill came and it was $29. 46 i gave her 2 twentys and had to ask for my change. 8 minutes later she told me she was waiting on manager to unlock the drawer to get my change ? So when i go my change back all she gave me was $10 back, I didnt have the strenght to ask were my .54 cents was. So I will never go back i never have had to fight for my food or my change back and fight a place to help the nice couple trying to enjoy their night out away from their kids to relax like we were doing. Good luck Joes
bad directions. Got directions from the web site. Did not realize that we had to park in a lot that was about 3 blocks from the place. We drove around and found Joe's. Went up drive and found out we had to pay $3 to park just to eat, or go back to the public lot that was free and walk to our destination. Since we only had credit cards on us, we were unable to park without the walk. Nothing on their web site prepared us for the walk or cost of the entrance to the lot. Never got to eat, but the place seemed to be packed.
Great food. Joes is the best resturant ever. The food is awesome the people are awesome and it is a very good place to work
Worst Experience Ever. Had to wait 30 mintues for a drink. When we brought this to the attention of the management, they didn't apologize, just scorned the bartender in front of everyone. Very unprofessional. Didn't offer anything to compensate. Food was disgusting. We were never checked on by management the rest of the time. The server was even embarrased by the treatment. I sent an email to their corporate headquarters-because this was literally the worst experience of my life. No response. Terrible terrible restaurant. I will never be back and I will share my experience with everyone that ever mentions the place. Don't go. There are a million better seafood restaurants in the city.
Poor food in an expensive suit.. The crab comes delivered to Joe's Crab Shack pre-cooked and frozen. It's a great view and a wonderful atmosphere, but it doesn't justify the $20-$30 spent for a bucket of crab meat that you could have easily gotten from a local grocery.
A colorful seafood restaurant for kids of all ages--especially the younger ones..
In Short
Admittedly kitschy, unavoidably noisy, this Red Lobster for rug rats is like an oversized seaside shanty awash in oceanic memorabilia--fishing nets, souvenir trinkets, plastic flotsam and jetsam. Staffed with a lively crew of G-rated table-dancing servers, the family-friendly chain anchors its menu in all things crab: Crab balls, crab cakes, crab dip, crab gumbo. Finicky children opt for corndogs or hamburgers; shellfish-phobic adults dine on rib eye steak or mesquite-grilled chicken.
