What started off in Donelson, Tenn. as "Mr. D's" in 1969 has evolved into fast food chain "Captain D's" with restaurants across more than 20 states. Touting high quality and quick-service seafood and traditional Southern fare as its mission, the menu offers hand-battered fried, baked, broiled fish, shrimp and chicken dishes. Starters include cheese sticks and jalapeno bites, seafood-stuffed crab shells and side items like corn, baked potato, coleslaw, tossed salads, hushpuppies and desserts.

Customer's Are Not Their Goal. If you except at least the cashiers or their bosses to be nice or courteous think again. The cashier's never smile, say Thank You for your business or at least knowledge that you have ordered.
