Great Place for Tires.
I was in need of some new tires, and I didn't feel like going back to Costco this time around, so I decided to do a search to see what people are saying about tire shop. After searching through the
list, I settled for Mexican Tire - the one that has not only the highest, 5-star rating, but also one that has the most reviewers (so I know it's not a fluke). After my experience there last week, I can see why it was able to gain so many 5-star ratings. And I'm about to make it one more 5-star rating.
I got there just when it opened at 8 am - already a couple of people there waiting. The guy immediately took care of my needs, despite not having an appointment. I needed four new tires. The Lady showed me a set “take-offs” 225-60-17 Michelin for only $320.00. Costco will charge me about $700 for exactly the same tires. I knew it was the best deal in town.
Everything was done within a half an hour (installation, balance, water checked, everything), which I found to be very impressive. When I was about to pay, the Lady told me that instead of charging me the original quoted price for the new valve stems, she decided to knock it down to just –free on the house-, (I requested the new vales because the tires I was getting look so new and I thought you need to change them whenever you get new tires). I really appreciate her honesty - she could have charged me the regular price and I wouldn't know it. Instead, she saved me twenty bucks.
I highly recommend this place - good customer service, quick, and as many other reviewers have commented, they won't try to charge you for unnecessary junk. I don't think I've ever had this kind of experience from the dealer.…
Definitely The Best!!.
I highly recommend this place! I've been coming here with all my cars for over 3 years now and have never been dissatisfied with their service. Everyone is friendly and willing to work with you to
solve the problems you may have with your vehicle’s tires. Around the time I had my second car I purchased 4 brand new tires and lived in the city. A week or two went by and I had a flat due to driving through a construction zone. Little to my knowledge it wasn't just 1 hole, but 2. They fixed it for the price of one because I had purchased the tire not too long ago. On top of that, when I went there later with my third vehicle they hook met up on the price! Awesome service! I'll never go anywhere else, this is definitely the shop I came to love going to! Please keep up the work guys! We appreciate it a lot!
Went there today with my 2008 Maxima and they even gave me a great price for 4 tires and then they replace a lug nut and some valve caps I was missing, on the house. So thanks guys! I owe you one :) You'll always have my business.…
Best Tire Deals.
I was replacing the tires on my dads 2009STS Cadillac- very EXPENSIVE tires. $230 for a new Michelin. I've known Mexican Tire Shop for a least 5 yrs now and they are friendly neighbors- so I decided
to go to them. Four Michelin tires came out to $350.00, installed and all. Not bad. I have to also mention that Cadillac dealer told my dad to replace the tires 6 months ago- I went to check with the guys at Mexican Tire Shop then, and they told me didn't need tires yet!! Drove for 6 more months just fine.
Not only does Mexican Tire Shop have great prices, but the have GREAT customer services. Everyone is friendly and you they are genuine.…
DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER.
My wife and I were driving south 15 hwy to spend the weekend at Mother’s
In L.A. Right after Baker, the rear passenger tire of my Dodge truck blowout. Aaahhggrr! Ok, so I called road side assistance. After an hour a guy claiming local showed up and changed my 20 inch tire for a used one. He charged me $150.00 total, for the tire and the service, telling me that both of the rear tires were bad. I kind of knew but after waiting for than 2hrs for the service, all we wanted is to be on our way.
But guess what, right before D St. exit, the same rear passenger tire started separating and a big chunk of tire went flying right behind us almost hitting the small vehicle driving behind my truck. I got off the freeway looking for a tire shop. I stopped at a place that did not have my size tire so they recommended a little place on Seventh Street called Mexican Tire.
I googled it and drove over to this small pops and moms shop. It looked so small I thought they will not have my tire size either. I walked in, told them I needed 2 tires. They asked me if I’d like the “newer” used tires or the brand new ones. Whatta H….l!! Who would of thought. I went for the newer used ones with only 500 miles on them. The total for the 4 matching Pirelli Scorpion ATR 275-55ZR20 tires, with balancing, installation and whatever else they do, was $400.00 out the door. My wife and I were ready to spent $900.00 to $1,000.00 for a set of new ones but when I saw the great quality of these tires, even my wife agreed that it was a sweet deal.
I felt great knowing what a great deal we got on these tires.
The guys were friendly and one of them spoke English very well (not to be racist, but it helps, really). The two younger guys took off my tires out, the new ones on my rims, and we were out in NO TIME!
The also made me aware that the tire I had jus paid $150.00 for, it was recapped. I was astonish and upset. The tire looked good and it end it up being a piece of crap. It’s scary to know that some people would put lives in danger for a couple of bucks. What an as…le!!
I TOTALLY recommend these guy at Mexican Tire, they straight up, no frills people. Be sure to tip the kids that are putting the tires on though.
They are working HARD for the money. Keep it up guys!!…
