awful customer service. I have never had such disrespectful service. I recently had a party of twenty go there for a coming home from the military party, kinda a big deal. The food was okay, to say the least. Luckily we had a great waitress but the kitchen hep was clueless. JJ the owner allowed 4 intoxicated people in during the middle of the comedy show and continued to get them drinks, which I believe is illegal. The drunk people were so loud and disruptive the comedian had to stop and say something. 3 seperate tables complained that we could not hear the show and he did nothing. When complained at the end, paying my 800 bill he pretty much said, ":oh well" The girl from the comedy club understood the problem and offered us some tickets but with JJ's awful attitude and allowing that and encouraging it I will never go back. He did not offer anything, hardly even an appology. In my mind he had awful customer service and I see the way he treats his staff, it is awful. There are much nicer places to each that try to please their customers rather than money.

Wonderful Italian Great service!. My first experience of sweet basil was devine. I ordered take out and was expecting plain basic food. I ordered the filet mignon and lobster tail that came with garlic mashed potatoes. It was mouth watering and melted in my mouth. I knew i had to go to the restuarant and experience it first hand. My first time eating in the restaurant i fell in love. Our waitress was warm,friendly,personable. Perfect! I love the combination of great food without snobby service and that is exactly what you get there. Our dinners were wonderful again, we ordered the salmon and another fish dish and both were above our expectations. My boyfriend and i saw they did comedy and dinner and thought that would be a perfect dinner date with both of our parents, so we came back and brought them with us to experience that end of it. That was OK, our server was kinda here kinda there, everyone has good and bad days but i was a little bummed that after all my bragging on the place they have a bum day when i bring first timers. The dinner selection isnt as grand for the price of the show and meal. My suggestion is eat out in the restaurant and when you are done then go back and watch the show. And, always give second chances on so-so experiences, you may be happy you did. I'd go back to sweet basil any day.

Uncooked food, even worse service. This restaurant is absolutely terrible!!!!!!

My wife and I stopped by while traveling through the area on a weekend trip. I ordered a steak and she ordered lobster ravioli. The steak was okay, I would not say great.

The lobster ravioli was not cooked. The pasta itself had the consistency of an uncooked pie crust. After letting the server know, nothing was done to correct the problem. The restaurant also would not take the charge off the bill. After arguing with the manager they took the price of a salad bar off the bill, which neither of us even ordered.

I would not recommend this place to anyone and I will never go back.
