Great VT Steakhouse. We were in town for a long weekend wedding. We had the chance to dine w/ a group of friends at Tbones on the friday nite b4. It was wonderful! I had a "Steak on a stone"-its when you are brought the steak on a super hot piece of Lava stone and you cut it up bite by bite and cook to eat! How fantastic! My DH had the most tender fall off the bone BBQ Ribs! Yum!!! It was a great dinner w/ great service! So when Sunday rolled around the same group and then some returned for thier brunch. It was so good! The selection of foods were perfect and everyone left stuffed. And you certainly could not beat the price of $11.99 for an all u can eat Sunday brunch! (PS I loved the smoked salmon) We wish we could give you a higher rating Tbones bc your service, food and ambience really made our weekend! Thank you!

T Bones Colchester Vt. My family and I made the mistake of going to T Bones this evening. The service was horrendous. The beer I ordered was as flat as a pancake. Two of my sons and my husband ordered soup. Two were served and the other soup came 20 minutes after. The dirty dinner dishes were still on the table when the dessert was being served. The dessert was served with no utensils. There was no cream and sugar brought for the coffee. The coffee was burnt. I"m writing this so some other poor unsuspecting family is not taken in by their online advertisement. If I were you I would avoid this place. You'd get better service at McDonalds.Hopefully we'll find a better place to eat tomorrow.

AAAAAAAA +++++ place to eat. We just tried this local restuarant for the first time and it was tremendous. To our surprise there was a live piano player in the dinning room, very nice. It was friday night and we did not have a reservation, but got seated right away. The server was very prompt and friendly. She suggested the special prime rib, which I tried, my wife choose the other special a fish fry. They served a salad with our entree which is very rare now a days. And I have to say they were both great. The server was very attentive and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. It has been a long time since eating out was so enjoyable defenitly a place we will go back to again. Real food real friendly people and a great atmosphere

Best Place in the State. I owned a restaurant for ten years and visited T-Bones for a quick bit to eat and I was truly shocked at the level of service. I was meet at the door by a nice young man who actually held the door for me and hung my coat up. The atmospheres was rustic Vermont at it's best. It was a Tuesday night and steady but i got sat right away, and being a single dinner am used to bad service. But Julie was very pleasant after she explained the specials and meals on the menu, I decided to have a complete dinner. The crab cake appetizer was fresh and homemade I could tell by the taste and form of the cake, the stuffed shrimp was great and the wine list was just right great selection and not too pricey. I enjoyed it so much I sat in the bar and had a drink after and it has become my favorite place to go out. I am very pleased to see a locally owned restaurant raising the level of service much better than the cookie cutter chains in the area.

Top Notch Service. Place was recommended to us by friends in the area. We all had steak for dinner even tho they had a lot of choices. The steaks were great and cooked just right. Our waitress treated us like royalty.

Rude people, lame bar. The awful treatment I received at Tbones compelled me to sign up on City Search. This is my first post. This unfriendly establishment refused to serve me after I accidentally broke a glass of Stella Artois 2 seconds after ordering it. I was stone cold sober. The bartenders were very rude. One of them accused me of "whining," and they didn't even replace the full glass I had paid money for. Skip this pathetic place and check out other bars in downtown Burlington.
