Best endocrinologist I've seen, and I've fired a couple.
I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and 2 endocrinologists said it had to be completely removed but none of them would answer my questions so I fired both. I got a referral to Dr. Paul Mystkowski from an oncologist I respect and who knows me and Dr Mystkowski.
I saw Dr. Mystkowski and liked him right away. We had a conversation in which I asked questions and he answered and explained. He also recommended that I have my thyroid removed, but we had a discussion, he did not order me to do it and was willing to address my concerns and answer questions.
Disinterested at best.
I was referred to Dr. Mystkowski through a friend. She had no direct knowledge of him but a male physician friend recommended him. Its possible they golf together because Dr M was the stereotype of a doctor who doesn't listen. He was arrogant and dismissive. I actually felt like crying when I left his office. I will never go back. I was able to make an appt with Dr. Paul Murray who is highly regarded but hard to get in to. I am hoping my experience will be quite unlike mine with Dr Mystkowski. Where are all the female endocrinologists.
This is the first negative review I have ever written about a physician or any type of service provider.
Best Physician in USA.
This is the best MD I have ever seen in 70 years. I would recommend this physician to anyone who wants quality care. Has a decent personality as well.
