Great service! Great food! So different from other places in town. We had a party of five and were seated on the outside deck. My seafood enchilada was excellent. One of our party is allergic to onions and they fixed her pollo asabo without them...she said it was fantastic! Can't wait to try everything else on the menu. They'll see us again soon
The atmosphere is open and airy, and it seems that on warm summer nights they open up all the windows. It's a notch up from casual, but not necessarily dressy. The menu is a blend of Mexican, South American, and Spanish dishes, and we found out that the owners are from El Salvador and were very friendly, walking around and talking with all the customers. It started off dead, but then got really busy later on into the evening. We came during the off season so I imagine it must get pretty crowded during the peak months.
Overall prices are about $15+ per entree so if you're looking for cheap mexican you may want to look elsewhere, but for some wonderfully prepared food blending south american and spanish flavors you absolutely must check out Mariachi. I cannot wait to return, and hopefully have a food photographer with me :)
the wife starts talking about Mariachi's fajitas about a month before we head off to Rehoboth. the phrase "the best ever" is frequently mentioned. She's never disappointed. I prefer the parilla a la pechuga: the durango sauce is amazing.
AAA+++ !!! I loved the salsa- so flavorful! I had the duck with green olives and my husband had the pork in corrilla sauce--simply amazing and the owner, Yolanda, is a fab hostess!
Superb! We've eaten here several times now and every lunch or dinner has been a stand-out. The food is reminiscent of a favorite place of ours in DC called La Fonda, which has been closed for many years. We were thrilled to find many of our favorite dishes on Mariachi's menu. We were there recently for lunch (it was an unseasonably warm day in April) and sat upstairs on the terrace. It was wonderful, relaxing, and the perfect way to spend a lazy early Sunday afternoon.
I had dinner here with several friends. They have a perfect deck/balcony space on the second floor. We had a table with a great view and the weather could not have been more perfect. One of my friends and I had the Steak and Shrimp Fajitas. They were amazing. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and the steak was seasoned and cooked just right. It was just the right amount of food also. Great dinner overall. I'd also recommend the golden margaritas.
I was happy to find this place during my stay at the beach. Food was spectacular and delicious! This place does not disappoint!

They offer tons of lunch specials, as well as Saturday and Sunday brunch, and weekly specials like $2 sangria and $3 margaritas on Thursday and Friday, and $5 tapas on Fridays and Saturdays. They also offer several items "for 2" like their paella, or the Spanish Parillada which is basically a giant sizzling platter of chicken, steak, pork chops, and chorizo, served like fajitas.
