Our favorite wedding vendor. Let me give you a local example. . . If a person were coming to Nashville to break into the music business, it would be a given that they are a stellar singer, they should play the guitar and they'd better be able to write. Having all that in place, there must be magic that makes them a star. Matt's magic is his spirit. His calm graciousness set him apart from the madness at the Bridal Edge Show. We've known him for a year now and every call, every e-mail is kind and respectful. He met with us and took the time to get to know our daughter and her groom, to learn their personalities and how they wanted to express who they are, what their relationship is about and what they wanted to "say" on their wedding day. Then he suggested venues (making whatever venue we wanted possible), "scenes" and lighting that would best relate to their story. Working with Matt early on their engagement photos was a fun day, allowing us a break from just planning the wedding, and giving us a wonderful prelude to what we could expect (gorgeous pictures too, 'natch!) But Matt's special magic really came through at the wedding. You don't need any extra drama that day! Matt's easygoing demeanor added a layer of calm - as he gently guided all wedding attendants and our honored guests through the day. No "cattle call" feel. And no ego! If he needs extra personnel to capture your day, he provides them - and cheers on their work!. He arrives early and will stay till the last shot you want taken is captured. Our photos were spectacular and he offers processing options which display them in a unique "wooden book" format (if you'd like) with a beautiful buttery leather cover. After your event Matt will work like crazy to get you your photos quickly. Matt will be photographing our family through all our kid's life experiences. He's become "family" :) Give him an interview, see examples of his work and you won't be disappointed.

Energetic, creative photographer who, with his work, captured our wedding day perfectly.. I first came across Matt via a City Search listing for Nashville photographers not too long after he had jumpstarted his work. Compared to higher priced photographers I had also researched, his work equaled and usually exceeded theirs and I was very impressed! So, for my upcoming Tennessee wedding, I decided to contact Matt and see if he was available for the day. He was quick to respond to my email and immediately set up a meeting date with my fiancee and I at the local Books-a-Million coffee shop in Madison, TN. I was very pleased with the samples that he had brought depicting recent weddings he had done, as well as his lovely photo book creations. (My favorite!!) I could tell right away that he was very honest, up front, and ready to do whatever he could to capture every special moment for us.

He asked so many questions about our desires, preferences, dislikes, and goals- it really blew me away! When our wedding day came, he arrived with his assistant that morning in plenty of time to photograph preparations and anxious faces as well as the entire wedding party with plenty of time to spare. It makes such a huge difference when you have a photographer who can be counted on to do the job efficiently and creatively!! By the end of the day, everyone was raving about him and the energy which he poured into his photography.

It was close to three weeks, maybe four after the wedding, when Matt mailed every single picture he took of our day in a box along with a disc copy. We were floored! It took me two days to look through them all!

In a nutshell, Matt went above and beyond what we expected and we are so proud of our wedding pictures and the super job that he did! THANKS AGAIN, MATT!

Photography service that rocks. Matt Andrews is genuinely passionate about shooting weddings. He has so much fun and that shows in his photos as well as translates to the people involved. He's easy going and puts people at ease with his down to earth style, while still making sure he gets all the shots the bride and groom really want. If you want someone who thinks outside the box when it comes to weddings then Matt's your man!
