For an exotic trip for your tastebuds. Had a buywithme gift certificate for $40 and went on a Monday night and sat in the lounge. The $40 covered 7 tapas, 2 drinks, a meal, and a dessert. Went with my best friend and it was the perfect amount of food.

Great atmosphere, though completely dead, we were the only people in the lounge for the majority of the meal - seats were comfortable - on the less busy nights good for first dates. Less impressed with the bartender's service - she was engaged in conversation and it took me approaching the bar to get water refilled, appetizers, and even dessert.

Our main meal: Chicken Tikka Masala - absolutely awesome - the "medium" was not very spicy (so keep that in mind when ordering) but it was amazing - tasted like basil tomato cream sauce - more italianish than indian.

The tapas we ordered were also great, and all $1!!!:

lamb sliders

cheese and mushroom samposa

mini cheese dosa

especially good - kali mirchi kar tikka: chicken with crushed pepper in a delicious sauce...

Never have gone for the nightclub aspect - but its worth a early week treat!

Poor Service, Bad Service, Worst Service. Saw the photos and decided to try it out. Waited at the desk for 5 minutes before the manager came and note my name in the wait list. He had no customer service. He saw me there waiting and just walked past a few time before finally deciding to attend me.

The table we were given was near to the kitchen and washrooms with waiters going in and out all the time. We were very next to the part of the kitchen were a guy was making nan bread within 2 ft of our table.

We requested table change which was given to us after some delay. No waiter came to serve us there for 15 minutes. No one even served us water. I had to go and fetch one to my table. Another couple sitting next to us had the same problem, no one was coming to attend them. They took this opportunity and placed their order with the same waiter.

Food came out in reasonable time. However the quality and test was below par. We left the place half hungry.

Same wait time for the check to arrive and the card to return.

Would definitely not recommend the place. The problem is waiters DONT HAVE designated areas and I guess the tip must be distributed among all. So no one paid any special attention. You had to shout to get a waiter at your place.

POOR SERVICE, OK AMBIANCE, OK FOOD.

Hippest Bar in Somerville. Hands down, this is the best bar in Somerville so far as I'm concerned. The drinks are great and the bartenders cool, and it's the only bar in Somerville that has any sense of design. It's not your typical Somerville dive with cheap drinks- if that's what you're looking for and you have the aesthetic sensibilities of frat students, look elsewhere.

The management group behind Mantra and Kashmir has opened a stylish nightspot in Davis Square.. In Short
Located next door to sister establishment Diva Indian Bistro, Diva Lounge provides Somerville scenesters with a visually striking nightlife destination. LED lighting, mirrored walls and curved wooden benches are just a few of the lounge's numerous eye-catching accoutrements. Designer cocktails and bottled beer prove popular, and hungry patrons choose from a menu of Indian-style tapas, including minted scallops in saffron sauce and sweet and sour Tandoori chicken wings.

Ironic advertisement. Wow, based on the shocking article in the Tufts Daily paper against "people of color" (you can google it), I'm glad I wasn't there. Had I been, it would have made CNN, and most likely COURT TV.
