This is the second time I visited this restaurant. As always, I find the staff very helpful and the service great.

Good for Nashville, but the bar is Really Low. The chowder wasn't bad. Cole slaw was decent. The fried seafood platter that I had was something I could easily prepare for myself at home. Someone told me that the sushi is good here, but I noticed that it comes prepared out of the kitchen. NEVER EAT SUSHI IN A RESTAURANT UNLESS YOU CAN SEE IT BEING MADE. I'd go back if someone twisted my arm, but this place is pretty forgettable.

terrible food. Don't bother going here. Terrible frozen food that's as bad as it gets...

Best Seafood in Nashville. My wife and I ate here on a Sunday afternoon about 4 pm. It was not busy so we did not have to wait to be seated. There were lots to chose from on the menu.

The New England Claim chowder was really good. I had the seafood platter which was great. I did not care for the coleslaw, but I just did not like the particular flavor. I'm sure lots of people like the coleslaw they serve.

For two entries, two cups of soup, and no alcohol drinks came to less than $40. I felt the price was fair value for the food we ate.

Although I have had better seafood in towns on the coast, I have never head better seafood inland.

Meh... Growing up in New England, I guess I took all the fresh fish for granted. I was excited to try fish and chips here, and was greatly disappointed. I got small pieces of chewy, nasty frozen fish (fresh cod tastes GOOD, not like this) in a cornmeal batter. It's not traditional in that way. I was going to order fried clams, but I'm happy I didn't judging from the fish & chips. The chips were good though, came in a paper bag like on the pier. If you want better fish & chips, go to Dan McGuinness or Blackstone. They both have passable versions (at least the fish part).

I haven't tried their sushi, heard it is pretty good though.

Great food. I went to Battered and Fried for lunch with some coworkers. The food was excellent (I had coconut shrimp) and the service was great. A little pricey though.

Friendly local pub. We recently visited Batter'd and Fried for a birthday party. We enjoyed our evening. The customer service was very efficient. All the waiters were very friendly. We first started off at the bar, somewhat disappointed with the lack of beers on tap. We ordered Jalapeno Chips at the bar which were very tasty. At dinner, we ordered the Fish and Chips and Coconut Shrimp. Both dishes were very good. Unlike other neighborhood pubs that come and go, we believe Batter'd and Fried will be around for a long while.

Oysters and Haddock delight! Great service! Great place to be anytime!!. I found that the service and the friendly atmosphere by both workers and patrons made for a wonderful experience. Meeting Manager Joe made it obvious why this restaurant will stay successful for many years. Wish we had this place in Pennsylvania!
