Best Sushi around these parts. The service was great. The sushi was phenomenal. And if you leave without trying the golden scallops appetizer, you have made a huge mistake. I've had lots of sushi in lots of restaurants in Nashville and this is definitely the best so far. I will be coming back for more.

Consistently Good.. I haven't eaten at all the Sushi places in Nashville, but I have eaten at quite a few. All of the fish has been consistently fresh, and I think they have some of the better Fusion rolls I've tried anywhere. Can't comment on the service because I usually order togo.

Best Sushi in Nashville. I love this place! I've been going ever since it opened.

The service is absolutely horrible. But, it's worth it once you finally get your sushi.

The Place to Go. The wait staff is friendly & helpful even when they are really busy. I love the soup, salads and Teriyaki Shimp combo meal. Lunch can be busy if you arrive between 12:30 and 1, but I've never had to wait too long. Love the atmosphere too.

Consistently delicious food-particularly the tofu dishes. I came across this restaurant while looking for another place. I decide to go in and give it a shot and I was very pleased that I did. As a vegetarian it can be difficult to find well prepared, tasty tofu dishes and Sushiyobi does tofu very well. I have been back about once a week since discovering Sushiyobi in November.

The only negatives are that occasionally the wait staff can seem hurried (and for good reason-at lunch it is quite busy) and the artwork leaves something to be desired.

Excellent Sushi - Great Dinner Spot. Parking can be a little tricky but food is well worth the drive/parking.

Excellent selection of speciality rolls as well as soups. New desserts are a treat to look at and to the eye. Great way to cap off a relatively inexpensive meal in style.

Lunch is always busy with locals - but night is the time this cozy place really shines. Would recommend to any sushi lover.

Nashville's Best Sushi!. I've tried about 90% of the sushi in Nashville and Sushiyobi is by far the best. Stay away from the basic rolls and venture towards their speciality rolls- they may be more pricey, but definitely worth it. The saki selection carries something for every taste, hot or cold, sweet or dry. Recomend the Tuna Tartar and the Bob the Builder roll.

DON'T GO HERE. At first when Sushiyobi opened, it promised to be a fun and different sushi place for Nashville. And at first it was! It was a littl expensive but had some fun flavors. Two years ago, I went for my birthday and had a horrible experience. Very slow service and C- Sushi. I avoided the place for a while... Until last night in fact, I gave them a second chance. Well, I was saddened that the place is still terrible. The same flavorless sushi. Very poor house Sake. (This stuff had to be the lowest grade Sake available.) Our waitress was very bad (again), and she was not a pleasant person to be around at all when she did show up. Besides all of that, the meal was the highest price I have paid for Sushi in a long time. If you get a hankering for Sushi and you are on Music Row, keep driving! You would be better off going to Captain D's. I have eaten here maybe ten times since they opened, and every time the experience gets worse.

Very bad service at lunch. Let me preface this by saying, I've never had to write a negative review here before - I'm not normally a picky diner, but this was a very bad lunch experience.

Two of us went here for lunch today - got there around 12:30pm. We ordered 3 rolls and a couple pieces of Nigiri, and two salads. Salads came out immediately - but it was over 40 minutes to get our sushi. The water I had (even with adding lemon) tasted very odd, almost undrinkable.

When we asked what had happened to our order, our waitress just rattled something off about the sushi bar being very busy. I don't care how busy it is, surely you can manage to turn out some simple rolls in less than 40 minutes....

Our bill was over $40 for something we normally get at any other sushi restaurant in town for $25-$30 for the two of us for lunch. Granted, the rolls were pretty good (especially one of the specialty ones - Makato spicy or something like that) - but come on ..no matter how good your product is, bad service, slow service and funky tasting tap water = I'm not going back.
