Great pizza in Lexington. I just moved out here after living on Beacon Hill for the last 4 years. My husband and I used to order from the Charles St. location almost daily. I am excited to find one out here! Try the lobster pizza, or the State House.... great stuff!

Gourmet pizza chain stretches out into the suburbs.. In Short
Unlike the Boston and Brookline locations of this laid-back, upscale pizza spot, the Lexington Center location has a full liquor license and small bar area. Creative diners mix and match from an endless variety of gourmet toppings (arugula, baby clams, Canadian bacon), and the menu suggests several tantalizing combinations. Other menu items include gooey calzones and fresh Greek and Caesar salads.

Some of the Best Pizza around....But is it worth the price?. The pizza was really good! I got our order to go and we tried 3 different types(a lot of people), and everyone agreed the crust was excellent. The cheese pizza was great and several people raved about the Chicken Fajita Pizza(very yummy!). The third pizza was sausage with peppers, onions and mushrooms, which no one was very partial to. The sausage was sliced so thin you could put it in frames and use it as sunglasses, which made the taste barely perceptible. Overall everyone agreed that we would definitely get pizzas to go from The Upper Crust again but not very often because of the negatives.... THE NEGATIVES: This pizza is much more expensive than your average pizza! A large pizza is almost $20 for a specialty pizza(like the chicken fajita pizza I mentioned). Holy carp!! $20!! Also if you like meat on your pizza, this is not the place for you since its sliced so thin you can barely taste it. And to ask for extra tacks on the bucks... bringing you well over the $20 for a pizza! It could have just been the sausage, but I doubt it. Also the wait time seemed longer than your average wait for a pizza at about 35 min.

Take out pizza. After reading about the Upper Crust in the newspaper, my husband and I rushed out to enjoy a pizza. By the time the pizza came, we asked to take the pizza home. The facility was noisy and uncomfortable. The bar was just that, a place to stand and drink. I can't remember if the pizza was good or bad, only that I will never return.
