Get cozy with friends and family and enjoy an Italian feast at this loved-by-locals restaurant..
In Short
Homesick for your mother's Italian cooking? Grab your appetite and head to this restaurant, where the friendly wait staff will serve up portions of Colosseum-esque proportions, like spaghetti and meatballs loaded with savory tomato sauce and lots of pungent garlic. Dishes center on Southern Italian immigrant fare, and are meant to be shared family-style with a large goblet of wine-to enhance the taste, of course. The ornate décor with walls covered in vintage photos evokes a warm homey feel that welcomes customers to dine among the other families and loyal customers. Buon Appetito!
WHAT? Not a family restaurant?. It is so much a family restaurant. It's like a big Italian family gathering! If you don't like crowds, no you shouldn't go. With all the people, the great food-alot to choose from and so much food(we usually have to take some home), it is alot of fun. We go there for alot of birthdays, everyone joins in with the singing to the birthday person. The waiters/waitresses are all very nice. They go out of their way, to make us feel at home. Always ask if there is anything they can do for us.
too expensive for what you get! Not a family restaurant..
I have a family of four and a dinner here cost $20/per person! Included one glass of wine, one dessert and we ordered the small portions.
The atmosphere, food and service were good. We ordered salad, ravioli and green beans. For half the amount you can get better portions at most other family Italian or Chinese or Mexican venue in Thousand Oaks!
Great!!.
Excellent Place. Love the Old World Atmosphere. The food is very good. I love the quattro el forno. Enough for two people to share. Excellent food.
Would highly recommend!
Slightly overhyped, but still a good place to eat. Buca is fantastic theme restaurant, but the only thing that really makes it different than other Italian restaurants is the decor and the fact that everyone eats the same thing. The food is good, but depending on the number of people in your group, you either end up with way too much food or not enough variety.
