Best Mac & Cheese I've Ever Had.... I was taken by a co-worker to Vittles for the first time about 3 months ago. I fell in LOVE with the macaroni and cheese, and believe me, I am a mac & cheese EXPERT... It's by far the best I've had (don't tell my Granny, she'll cry!!!) ... There are actually THREE meat & 3 restaurants closer to my work than Vittles, but I drive the extra few miles just to get it about once a week, and it's TOTALLY worth it. I was also impressed by the CONSISTENCY of quality. I've been to several meat & 3's that I loved one time, and the next time the meatloaf had grissle and the potatoes were cold. That's never happened to me at Vittles. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
We are glad they are in our neighborhood.... We have been eating there since they moved into the old Shoney's in Hermitage. There are very few complaints on our end. When there is something wrong they are quick to correct it and very apologetic. The portions are usually more than we can eat in one sitting. Everything has a good flavor. Cracker Barrel needs to move over and take some lessons before Vittles takes over. The Sunday brunch is great although a little high but all fresh and a good variety. The open faced roast beef is awesome. The salads are huge and fresh even in the winter. The owners are family oriented and personable.
