HORRIBLE. My family and I witnessed our server and another girl making out and groping each other outside in there uniforms! My two small children witnessed it.. Very disppointing. Service was horrible. STICK TO WHITTS BBQ

best nashville bbq. the atmosphere is great for a family or group of business professionals and the prices are very reasonable. I ate lunch and filled up for under ten dollars. Try the pulled chicken bbq sandwich with baked beans. Just moved to nashville and it is by far the best taste I've had. Great service and really good sweet tea. highly recommended.

The Ribeye is the best you will have anywhere!. I am a regular at the Jim 'N Nick's in Nashville on my frequent visits to this fine city. I have liked everything I have ever tried there but I keep going back for the ribeye steak. You wouldn't normally think a steak would be good at a BBQ joint, but this is not your typical BBQ joint. The steak is out of this world! I live in the Birmingham area where jim and nicks was founded, so I know and love this restaurant. I have even had the pleasure of meeting Nick himself on several occasions. His passion for quality food and outstanding service are evident after talking with him for just a few moments. He is an artist when it comes to southern style food. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and have on numerous occasions. Keep up the good work Nick and staff.

Maybe this one is good. I have only eaten at one Jim N Nicks and that was in Jasper, AL. The food made me sick and the service was terrible. Maybe the one in Nashville is better, but I think I've had my last deal with Jim N Nicks.

Great BBQ. I'm a big BBQ fan and there are a lot of good choices out there in Nashville, but Jim N Nicks has become my favorite. The pulled pork reminds me a lot of one of my old favorite haunts, Herbert's.

What really makes this place stand out though are the sides. Every side I've had there has been awesome. My favorites are probably the onion rings and the mac & cheese. Also, the cheese biscuits they serve are too good. I could probably sit down and eat about two dozen of those things.

The sauces they have are great. If you like some heat, then I'd recommend using the habanero barbecue sauce on your meat.

Birmingham-based chain serves smoked barbecue meats, traditional Southern trimmings and made-fresh pies to a Bellevue crowd.. In Short
With decor reminiscent of an old-fashioned general store, the mustard-colored walls of this restaurant feature black and white photos of life in the South along with vintage advertisements. Exposed wooden beams and amber-colored lights keep the room warm as lazy blues floats from the sound system. Families and couples alike sit in booths along the walls or at tables over popular cheese biscuits, collard greens, pimento cheese and barbecued meats from the outdoor brick smoker.

Ok bbq. The BBQ was ok it was not as good as everyone seemed to let on. It had a very bottled smoke flavor and the picture that looked like a dead pig wasen't very delightful to look at while I was eating. On of my friends even got her mouth cut by a bone in her so called Boneless chicken sandwhich.

This is GREAT BBQ.. I grew up in Memphis and spent many years in Texas, so I'm a brutal BBQ critic, and I have been shocked into silent bliss by every item I've tried on the Jim N Nicks menu. The pork links are nothing short of amazing. The brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken, and turkey are pretty much perfect, especially with a shot of their Habanero sauce. And yes, not only are all the sides as amazing as any homemade you can find, the cheese biscuits (really more like fluffy vanilla muffins with so much shredded cheese in the batter that they fall apart, served with hand-whipped honey butter) are absolutely worth their own visit just to grab a dozen...

...which is what I'm about to go do right now. Excuse me.

Best Southern sides in the city!. Finally, Southern sides to rave about! Mashed potatoes like fluffy clouds (no turbulence), collard greens and cabbage greens that are almost as good as mom's! Mac n Cheese with cheese that is the proper color (and cheese one can actually see...) I typically don't bother ordering potato salad because I rarely ever can take a 2nd taste after the first. Not a potato salad fan. However, I'm not sure what's in the recipe, but I loved it. And, an essential in any really fabulous meal in my opinion, excellent sweet tea. I can't say enough about the sweet tea. It was the proper color (clear amber, not too dark, not too light), it didn't make me wonder if there had been a shortage on sugar that day, and nice (almost crushed) sized ice to go in it. I was quite stunned, and absolutely delighted. Next time, I might have room for a rib or two.
