Don't go there for the ribs!

Although we arrived well before the evening dinner rush the service was slow. My wife ordered the salmon and liked everything. I had the chicken and ribs combo. The ribs were tough, rubbery and certainly not falling off the bone tender. BAD CHOICE! This was our second visit to Doolittles and more than likely our last. We were scouting out a place to bring friends in the future. The ribs killed it for me.

What a surprise

Doolittles surprised me immencely. Judging by the sound of the name, I thought is will be comparable to Denny's or a diner of the sort and when a friend suggested we go there for diner I wasn't too excited. Walking in I was pleasantly surprised. Atmosphere was great. The mild scent of burned wood made it so much authentic. Cosy boots, great service, reasonable prices! Decent wines on the wine list! What more could you wish for? I had fruti di mare pasta with mussels and my friend had cajun chicken pasta. Both choices were excellent. Server was friendly and attentive. GO there, you won't regret it!
