Few and Far Between in Dundee. I had heard mixed reviews on this place, so I decided to try it out and make my own opinion. I think I have a mixed review too. We loved sitting on the patio, but the food was so so. The menu had fish tacos, macaroni and cheese and lamb schrwama(this is what I had and it was very fatty), so kind of all over the board. The patio probably even made the food taste better than it even was. I may have to go one more time to assess the food a little better.

Lovely spot in Omaha. This is a great little place in Omaha. If you go in the summer, they have a nice secluded patio; otherwise the dining reoom is very nice and looks out to the street from the 2nd story. The food is continental and excellent as was the service. I had the seared scallops special and they were wonderful and nicely presented with spinach and artichoke hearts. The wine selection is surprisingly good with several hard to fing Oregon Pinot Noirs.

The Best Neighborhood Restaurant in Midtown. Go! Sit outside if the weather is good, enjoy the relaxed, stylish interior if not. The service is very pleasant and the chefs prepare the sophistocated menu with a gentle touch. This is place to be a regular.

A Delicious Treat. Mark's is a great place to dine for a romantic dinner, a special event with a big group, and many other occasions. The restaurant is situated in a former two-story house. I felt like I was dining in someone's home. It was very cozy and nicely decorated and the service was personalized and superb. Mark's offers quite a menu with entrees ranging from macaroni and cheese to fine sirloin and salmon. Appetizers are delicious; we tried various bread spreads, an assortment of fine cheeses and an antipasto plate chock full of goodies. The sirloin was superb as was the mahi-mahi and salmon that others in the group had.

I would definitely come back to Mark's. It's a great place for an after-work drink, a romantic dinner for two, or a family celebration.

Great Neighborhood Find. Nestled among old brick homes and quaint neighborhood shops, Marks Bistro is a wonderful place to have a dinner for two or a group gathering. A garden patio at the rear allows guests to enjoy after-work cocktails in a casual setting. The upstairs private rooms gave us a place to conduct business and still enjoy a great steak dinner. The menu seems to be seasonal, taking advantage of fresh produce. Although a small neighborhood place, they offer an excellent selection of wordly fine dining items. Their wine list is well rounded and offers at least one wonderfully crisp chardonnay from France. My sirloin steak was cooked perfectly and served with grilled asparagus and roasted new potatoes. I enjoyed my creme brulee for dessert, but others tried their signature bread pudding. Overall an experience I would gladly repeat if I ever make it to Omaha again.
