You can't find WORSE customer service – Landeros Concrete came to our attention when we wanted to get a patio and some walkways done. We looked at some of their work around town, and George even showed us work that he'd done in some of his neighbors' yards. At one house, across the street from his, George even called the homeowner's attention to a very small crack in some recently poured work he had done for her and told her that his guys would be by the next day to replace that section for her. We were very impressed that George would stand behind his work that to that degree, so we were sold.
We had Landeros Concrete do over $10,000.00 worth of work for us and it turned out beautifully. At first...
After about 6 to 8 weeks had passed, I noticed a small, but growing crack starting at the edge of one of my patio sections. Remembering George's willingness to fix the crack at the home across the street from his house, I called George to tell him about it and see if he could head it off before it spread.
I called his business number and left a message with his wife/secretary and told her what was happening. She said he would call me back. Several days went by and no call, so I decide to try George's cell number - I got nothing but voice mail on 3 occasions several days apart. (Keep in mind, he now knows I am calling about a crack in my new concrete.) Amazingly, George must have forgotten how to dial a phone once my last check had cashed! I never did get a call back.
In hind-sight, it looks like that whole thing with him being so anxious to take care of his neighbor's concrete may have been staged for our benefit, because he sure didn't want to work on mine.
That was in 2005. This crack is now about 15 feet long, runs through 3 sections of patio and is wide enough, at the start, to put a nickel into. Several others have since appeared and are still growing.
Quality concrete work, laid on a correctly prepared site, should never crack as much as mine did, as soon as it did. I lived in a house built in the '50s and it didn't have cracks this bad when I moved out of it in 1992!
Good luck to you if you're planning on using Landeros Concrete, I suggest you hang on to that last payment check for at least 90 days after their work is finished. That way, George won't forget how to dial YOUR number if something goes wrong.
Best concrete work in the area – We needed some concrete and landscaping work done so we asked everybody we knew who they recommended. The more people we asked the more good news we heard about Landeros Concrete, so we gave Landeros Concrete a call, viewed their work around town and were very eager to hire Landeros Concrete.
Landeros Concrete removed our old walkway and porch and replaced it with a beautifully designed porch and walkway with pillars. What we found refreshing was their quality of work, attention to detail and consistency.
We were so satisfied with their work that we also hired Landeros Concrete for landscaping work as well as pressure washing our buildings; all of which they performed with the same excellent quality and attention to detail.
We highly recommend Landeros Concrete.
