Cuban sliders!!. Gordo's is so great! My friends and I try to meet there for lunch at least once a month. Last week I had the Cuban Sliders and ordered some of their Gordo sauce to go with them, which was amazing, especially with their fries. My friend got the empanadas with yucca and fried plantains and she really liked hers. We have friends who have graduated and moved away who miss Gordo's so much! It's their first stop when they come back to visit.

Good stuff. I dig the tapas, fries and Gordo's sauce. The red beans and rice are really good too. The prices are great, especially when you just want to try a few of the tapas on the menu. Last time I went there, I tried the yucca, empanadas, and maduros, and a basket of fries. All were really good, and service was fine.

Great Cubans and fries. Since I'm not Cuban, I can't offer an opinion on authenticity, but I can say that it's GOOD. Good fries, especially with that Gordo's sauce, good Cubans, good grilled fish, good burgers, good service. The only glitch is the parking. That's iffy. Especially if you drive a rather large vehicle. But if you dig a pressed sandwich with lots of pork and cheese with some black beans and rice and some seasoned fries, go to Gordo's.

Don't miss the fries and Gordo's sauce!. I eat at Gordos for lunch about once a month, and I've always loved the Cubans, fries with their Gordo sauce, and I haven't ventured far from that too many times. The black beans are good, and I have had the grilled fish and chicken too. Always fresh, never overcooked. The service is not super fast, but it's friendly, so you might want to avoid the lunch rush if you are in a hurry. You can eat inside or outside, depending on if you can tolerate the summer heat or weather. A must-have is the basket of seasoned fries with their famous sauce. It's plenty to share.
