Worst Bartender in history

Let me just say that the service, at first, was fine. The female barkeep was polite and friendly. She brought out the food and, although it wasn't the greatest food, we were having a good time. We had two tabs and we ended up playing a game of Golden Tee. During the game, we noticed a new bartender, a male, was pointing at us.

I thought it was because we had two open tabs and we were not at the bar, so I decided to go back and pay out my tab just to make sure everything was o.k. As I approached the bar, the male barkeep said "I thought you left on me!! I nearly ran out down Route 114 to hunt you down!"

He then mentioned that he noticed I left my jacket on the chair and he was going to keep the jacket if I was thinking about leaving on the tab.

Ok, I can take a joke (although he seemed to be really serious) and like I said we were having a good time, so I just laughed it off. I also said that I would never skip out on a tab and we were playing Golden Tee. So I closed out my tab, tipped him 25% and thought everything was fine.

Next, we both get back to the bar and order 1 more drink but we overhear this barkeep saying that it's rude for us to have left our seats. "I could've had two good paying customers sitting in those seats".

This went on for a few more minutes and we tried to ignore it. However, after he decided to include other patrons in on his little joke, we decided it was time to leave. And this time he doesn't deserve a 25% tip.

So, we pay the 2nd tab and plunk down $1. This is $1 more than he deserved.

As we are leaving, the guy chases us out, yelling about "Was something wrong with the service". He followed us out to our cars. He crossed his arms like he deserved a bigger tip.

As we leave the parking lot, we see the guy running after our car!!!

Lesson of the story: Do not go to Spero's. They employ madmen.

• Pros: Large bar, lots of televisions, keno, plenty of room
• Cons: Service, Pizza was horrible

California Chicken is wonderful over Brocolli (I don't eat pasta)

Always treated nice! Good Food - Good Service (ask for Coralee) - Good Prices - Good People

Good time had by all......................

No Cold Beer
