Best pizza anywhere, Avoid on Friday nights. Gemma's is a good resturant overall....the service is not too good though. I would go as far as saying bad. Tasty pizza, lazy service. There is especailly this one worker when I visited on Friday that was especially rude and gross that worked at the cash register. He mumbled and I could not understand one word that he was saying. I wouldnt recommend it.

Arlington Center eatery provides on-the-go locals with a spot for a quick Italian meal.. In Short
Gemelli's far-reaching menu includes every familiar Italian favorite under the Tuscan sun. Neapolitan pizzas prove popular, and toppings include wild mushrooms, marinated chicken and marscapone. Fresh salads, large pasta dishes and hot panini sandwiches round out the offerings. Most patrons choose to carry out their caprese wraps (or have it delivered), but some opt to sit in the quiet, nondescript dining area.

Poor customer service, although good food. Not sure if I would say it's worth it. The chicken pesto sandwich I ordered was good. However the service was NOT good. Both my friend and I got the same sandwich. She got hers about 15 minutes before mine. What was supposed to be a hot panini, was a) not that hot and b) not a real panini. When my friend asked the young girl working to simply heat up her sandwich for a minute, we waited as it sat on the counter for the next 10 minutes. What was even better, was that when the girl went to talk to the cook, we could clearly see her and it looked as if she was bitching about us. When I asked the girl what was going on, she said it was being grilled. I guess the cook misunderstood and made a whole new sandwich.

Best ZA in Arlington. Granted, I haven't tried ALL the pizza in Arlington, but Gemelli is my favorite right now. Their thin crusts are great. My favorite is their specialty pizza, Gorgonzola (contains carmelized onions, wild mushrooms, and gorgonzola cheese!). When in a simpler mood, their Margarita is wonderful too. Of course, you can create your own pizza too.

My only complaint is that there is not much room to eat-in, but I prefer to take-out anyway.

nice to have in town. Gemelli's is nothing fabulous. Arlington simply doesn't boast the same culinary status as nearby Cambridge or Somerville's Davis Square.

But the sandwiches, pizzas, and entrees are good. Everything works well for take-out.

Only drawbacks, as mentioned, are the cramped seating area and, I argue, the overpricing of some items (better deals for better food can be found in Harvard Sq.)
