A real gem in the Yakima Valley.
You'll think you're in an intimate Seattle restaurant when you walk into The Carousel. It's on historic Front Street but it's a bit hard to find, as it is tucked back off the street and their sign is
not prominent. It has a nice, quiet atmosphere, the service is personal and non-pretentious, and the food is excellent. I love their Spinach Salad Flambe (made at your table) and my husband's favorite is the Porto Filet (not shown on the menu, but always available as a special). And if you get appetizers, the stuffed mushrooms are delectable.
My only regret is they're not open for lunch.…
Delicious!. Great place to eat. Friendly service and good food. I didn't know what to order, but the chef and waiter were very helpful to find a dish I would like. I highly recommend!
Best dining experience in Yakima. On Valentine evening my husband and I had the most wonderful meal since moving to Yakima last summer. For starters we had escargot (my husband thought they were the best he had ever eaten)and I had the crab cakes which were a perfect proportion and so good. He had the lamb and I had garlic prawns. Both meals were simple and very good. Prepared to perfection. The raspberry creme brule and the parfait with wild cherries in brandy were beyond words - a perfect ending to the meal. Yakima is lucky to have a restaurant of this caliber. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very relaxing . We have tried many restaurants since moving here and this has to be #1 for having it all. We will definitely recommend it and plan on eating there again. The price is worth the experience especially for a special evening out.…

A family french restaurant. I eat at the Carousel restaurant almost every week; I love it. It has a cute little bar that reminds me of intimate bars in New York city restaurants. My friends and I love to meet there. My favorite things are the escargots, the beef bourguinonne, and the steaks. Oh and the chocolate mousse. They also make great cosmopolitans and martinis! It is a totally friendly place to eat and everyone there is like family... definetely one of the best restaurants in Yakima.…
