The Encore Cafe is probably my favorite all around go anytime or with anyone restaurant in Bloomington. That's saying a lot in this town where there are so many incredible casual dining spots. Encore is a huge open space, very welcoming and great for large groups aswell as people on their own who just want to have coffee and use the wireless access. It's cafeteria style, so no waiters, tipping or need to hurry. They have bands on occassion which is fun. I love the Sunday brunch they have. They have amazing desserts that you see first thing when you walk in the door. They have daily specials which usually range from chicken and beef to pastas, vegetarian dishes, and soups and they always have a salad bar and a sanwich menu. I have to say that while I love the place I don't always love the food but they are so nice about letting you taste before you order that I can always find something . In fact everyone can. That's why it is my favorite!

Encore is a cafeteria-style restaurant, which will save you money. They have a nice assortment of sandwiches, soups, salad bar, and entrees, as well as a decadent case full of desserts. Vegan, veggie, and omnivore-friendly too. Tons of seating, as well as outdoor seating too. You can even get beer, wine, and espresso. Food is good, not outstanding, but definitely always good.

In a town overrun with chain food Encore Cafe is a treat. Unique sandwiches, soups and different food options make for something different. I go every Sunday I can to enjoy a nice meal. I have had meetings there, and family time. The atmosphere is laid back and you can relax while you enjoy your food. The cafe style service is a huge benefit. You get your food and can enjoy it in peace. The service is sometimes a little too relaxed but generally OK. I have had some food here that is been a little too long on the table so be picky with what you get.
