Great food 7 atmosphere. My son and I love the Shrimp Boat. The steaks are outstnding and the stuffed grouper (or is it flounder; doesn't matter, it's great!). Service is quick and servers are wonderful. You won't go wrong taking company to the Shrimp Boat. Easy parking and some outdoor tables for those who want to enjoy Florida's balmy evenings. My favorite appetizer is the chowder, but then I know I'll need a doggy box!

Best Value in Brandon. We have been going to the Shrimp Boat for the past two years and have NEVER had a bad meal! We've probably tried everything on the menu! My son and daughter-in-law were visiting so we took them to what we refer to as "our Cheers Bar" and they were so impressed!

I've never had such a tender Sirloin steak and their fried foods - onion rings and shrimp - are so light, never with a greasy taste. And their specials are phenomenal, especially the Amber Jack!

My son said he can't think of any restaurant that has such great food at such reasonable prices.

Absolutely a must!

Brandon's Best Kept Secret. Shrimp Boat is Brandon's Best Kept Secret's .....The food is fresh and well prepared. Not only is their fish and chips fab, seafood chowder to die for. AND the mushroom CHEESE burger is absolutely THE BEST!!! Oh, the onion rings!

Horrible Restaurant. I recently went in there with a friend of mine. Our bar drinks took 15 minutes to get out to us, and the waitress gave us attitude like it was our faults. Food was VERY slow to get out, and when it finally did, it was cold and tasteless. This place is a slum!

Great place to dine. We dined with friends there last week 2 different days found out the first day how good it was shrimp & fish

Shrimp Boat ROCKS!!!. We have been going to The Shrimp Boat Grille for almost a year and have always received Hot, Fresh food, and excellent service.

We went tonight with the in-laws (they are from out of town) and they loved it! We ordered their delicious and juicy burgers with the potato pancake. Everything was cooked to order, FRESH, and delicious. And to all you carnivores out there, you know it's a good burger when the juice just drips down your chin as soon as you bite into it. It's pure heaven.

I've also enjoyed their shrimp and Tilapia. Their riptide shrimp is one of my favorites. It's lightly breaded, and it's accompanied with a delicious tangy yet slightly spicy sauce. It's oh so delicious and worth the calories! The Tilapia is also lightly breaded (panko?) and is nicely flavored. Plus, you get two big filets in your order with an excellent tartar sauce.

The service. Each time that we have come in, the service has been great. Their staff are attentive, helpful, and courteous. Never pushy. Love that!!

After tonight's dinner I seriously wanted to go to the back and meet the Chef. He/She is doing an excellent job at providing FRESH, delicious food for all of Brandon/Valrico Area.

If you are in the mood for FRESH, Cooked to order food, come to Shrimp Boat! You won't be disappointed!

Awesome. Great food great service couldn't ask for more and the new commercial is absolutely adorable!! I highly recommend that you try it.

Mayday, Mayday..this place is terrible. Easily one of the worst establishments in Tampa. Terrible service, so the other comments are very suspect. We went on a Sunday and the place was empty. The staff seemed really bitter at the thought of serving a customer, and when we ordered our meal, they did not have half of the items ordered. When we complained, they were dismissive and simply rude. With service like this, they will be out of business in 6 months.

FANTASTIC!!!!!. All I can say is FANTASTIC. You're missing out if you haven't given it a try! Everything I've had there was the best! From the crab cakes to the coconut shrimp to the chicken parmesan. You can't beat it. The owners are WONDERFUL!

great service, great value. Went there last night - it was great.

The onion rings we had as an appetizer were fantastic - they were cooked just right. Nothing worse than onion rings where the onion is mushy...didn't happen at the Shrimp Boat Grille. Also, the chipotle dipping sauce was wonderful - a little bit of spice and a little bit of sweet...a perfect companion to the onion rings.

I had the fried shrimp - I'm a 'basics' kind of eater. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that the shrimp were nice and big...and had no tails! W00t!

My dining partner had the stuffed flounder with a loaded baked potato --- when they said 'loaded', they mean it! The flounder was excellent, so I was told.

Portions were large but not obscenely so. The price for what you're served is very, very reasonable - you do not feel short changed at all.
