THE WORST dining experience.
We visit last weekend. Our first visit recommend by our son friend. We expected Carribean food. Nothing on the menu is Carribean. The menu is closer to Italian then any other food. My wife ordered jerk chicken breast with pasta. The dish came with BOWTIE pasta
and very bland chicken pieces. She could not eat it
she returned the dish. The executive chef came to our table. My wife ordered salmon and yellow rice. The salmon was OK, the rice was cold and the veggies were from a can. One of the WORST eating experiences. We will NEVER, EVER return!!!!!!!
the wings were gross. i sat at the bar, the service was quick and constant, but the pina colada wasnt good like it usually is, i think she gave me a regular one instead of the ultimate like i ordered. anyway i ordered the habenero wings, and they were cold and undercooked. they were gross. And when the waitress brought them to us, she acted like a bitch, she didnt look at me or smile or anthing, i said thank you, and she said NOTHINTG TO me and she didnt even look at me." her name was Paige.
favorite restaurant in pgh. everything about this place is amazing! great atmosphere, great food at a very reasonable price. honestly my most favorite restaurant in pittsburgh.... wish there was more then one location.
Bahama BAH!.
It used to have authentic interesting caribbean food. Because of the low class people that go there they change d the menu to basic restaurant food and a few dishes have pineapple in it? I am going here to try something new bring back the caribbean food.
I was seated outside and started eating. Then a waitress came up half way through and told me to move somewhere else that this area was reserved. She shoved me in a corner by myself and everyone stared at me. I didn't leave a tip, the waitress was rude.
Great atmosphere, helpful and curteous staff.. Waiting for a table is long and we had five in our party with call ahead seating and were told if we were not seated at a table for four with a seat in the aisle we would have to wait at least two hours for a bigger table. I realize bigger tables are limited and it was Mother's day weekend so all is forgiven. We ate there three times now and it was always good eating. Some of the appetizers are soso like the crab claws which I will never order again.. Love the fish and chicken kebobs but will send back the kebobs if the chicken is burnt again.
Excelllant! Everything was outstanding! Food, drinks and service-Aplus!. My boyfriend and I went there for lunch 12/18/08 on our way to the airport. We were on our way to a Caribbean cruise-this was a great start to a great vacation!! Everything was great! Food out of this world!
best caribbean food. the atmosphere is like being at the island. the service was great. the food and drinks at this restaurant are great. the food was worth every bit of money we paid.my husband and i truly enjoyed the atmosphere and the whole experience at the bahama breeze.
long wait but worth it!. Went on a Friday night and had to wait for our seating. There was a good waiting area at the front of the restaurant so we could browse the menu while waiting. Once seated the service was fast and efficient. The coconut shrimp was very good but the ahi tuna was average. Loved the ambience and the paintings on the wall. Enjoyed our visit and would definitely eat there again!
Great place for social gathering.
This restaurant offers great food, although the names they give their dishes aren't very authentic. For example, my friends and I had an appetizer called "Cuban bread", which was basically garlic bread with tomato on top. My Cuban friend said that that was NOT Cuban bread. :P
Overall, this was a really great restaurant with friendly servers, an awesome theme, and great food. Highly recommended.
Good, but its a chain.. I have eaten here twice - once last summer and once a few months ago. My summer experience was very nice - I sat outside and enjoyed some type of delicious rainbow colored drink with a little shot of something hanging off the side (the name escapes me now!). I believe I also had a basic pizza. Overall, a very nice experience. However, my trip there this winter was so so. I had a shrimp salad (salad with grilled shrimp) and it was very bland and was basically shrimp with lettuce.
