Full bar features an extensive wine list and specially created lists of aperitifs, martinis and both traditional and modern cocktails.

Editor's Tips

What to Drink:
In true desert fashion, cocktails are strong and expertly made. Try the Le Citron Bleu, a martini made with blue Hynotiq and Ketel One Citroen and served in a sugar-rimmed glass.

Happy hour - its the real deal

by advicedoc

Fun gimmick! Drinks & food is priced by the hour meaning show up at 5pm and you have $5 treats, 6pm = $6, etc. Great way to hang out at a very nice poolside bar. Beautiful setting, nice lighting, good scene.

  • Pros: Great pricing on drinks and eats
  • Cons: Only certain days of the week

It's too pricey for being an OK restaurant

by kkfgeo

All the food that was ordered came out really salty. In addition, the rib eye steak was tough. The ambiance and the service were very good though. But for the price we paid for the meals, I don't think the whole experience was worth it.

nice place , bad kitchen

by dinaella

I and my boyfriend took reservation at Viceroy hotel , ! bdr.aparment was very nice , clean and quiet , after we decided to celebrate my birhtday on Citron.

Citron is nice small restaraunt -actually all buildings those complex had reconsrtruction from some old apartment buildings.....

I ordered : soup , foie gras and Paella , i was really upset...They have to change chef....level of that food for that price was really high.I felt my self like i'm at fast food bistro.

It's my opinion...

My favorite place to eat in Palm Springs/Palm Desert

by elisehwall

When you enter the Viceroy the lush citrus colors excite the senses into a feeling of euphoria, or maybe it?s just the cocktails during golf...either way, Citron is the best way to end a beautiful day in Palm Springs! You MUST make a reservation because the place fills up quick. The food is a wonderful mix of light and comfort dishes. There are not many wines by the glass; I suggest you do a bottle. Order the fresh baked cookies for dessert and you will find that the whipped cream is the best thing on the plate!

  • Pros: Interiors, Food, Dessert
  • Cons: Pricey, Wine by the Glass

Very Cute

by elisehwall

The Citron Bar is about 6 Bertoia Wire Bar Stools and two lounge chairs, and that is about it. Go when it is warm out because then your group can spill out onto the pool patio. There, you can roast marshmallows by a small fire pit while you sip on your cocktail under the moon light. The scene can really pick-up even by 8pm, so get there uber early if you want to snag a seat!

  • Pros: Interiors, Pool Area
  • Cons: Small, Crowded
