Hospital for sinners-that's all of us!!

I have attended several churches in my life from pentecostal to catholic and SCC is the best church ever. The pastors and members are the most nonjudgemental, caring people I have ever met. There is a great children's service as well with awesome caretakers that teach the kids about Jesus in a fun way. They have family fun nights on a regular basis where they rent the bowling alley, skating rink and the pool. I have never seen a church be so family focused in the name of the Lord.
They have a big crowd on both services and the songs are the modern style but also hymns or sometimes sung.
Pastor Bill and Love are the most easliy understood characters and they always show love to everyone just like Jesus does.
Just come out at least once and see if you don't like it.

- Cons: they're gonna need a bigger parking lot and church with the way the church is growing

Best Church in South Central Indiana

If you are looking for a good friendly church to call home, SCC is it! I had given up on organized religion when my friend talked me into coming to her church. 2 1/2 years later, I have become a member and my family loves it there. If you need a place where people don't judge you for what you wear or how much money you make, Seymour Christian is the greatest church I have ever attended. Bill Lockman (pastor) and his beautiful loving wife, Love Lockman, are true down to Earth, caring, giving people who teach the BIBLE and on a level that is easily understood. Seymour Christian helped me through a family crisis and for that I am forever grateful. The kids ministry is second to none. Allison Williams is the children's minister and she does a tremendous job implementing fun events for the kids. I just want to witness to the whole world that Jesus Christ is King and Lord and He is risen. You can find Jesus at all of our church services. The spirit of the Lord is evident in not only the pastors but in the members and attenders of the church. I can't say enough good about Seymour Christian. They are a real life church for real life people.
- Pros: Great events for kids, adolescents, seniors, everyone is welcome and treated with respect and love. Non-judgemental and fun to be there.
- Cons: Nothing I can think of.

If you like a friendly church and be able to come in dressed casual you have found the right church in Seymour, Indiana. You will feel right at home and everyone is welcome!

Very good Casual Dressed Church, Sermons are very understandable, Very Friendly

Though i have only been there for 2 weeks, it is a great church. I am just a 12 year old kid but i can easlily follow the sermons that Bill (the pastor) teaches
