Credit card abuse!!! Be aware when singing up for membership. They have been over charging my credit card for five months. One month ago the manager promised to issue a refund but I still never receive it. In fact I just checked my statement they just placed another charge on my card. Called at least five times to leave messages. The manager does not return phone calls.
TERRIBLE CUTOMER SERVICE. I never would recommend the monthly message program. Dates are difficult to confirm, showed up for my message and the owner was supposed to make the appropriate changes but he misunderstood and would make no compensation or credits for the many inconveniences I had to make to get a massage appointment to fit into their schedule. The Ja Ross massage program adds stress instead of relieving your stress. Don’t bother and save yourself the frustrations. Owner needs to attend customer service training.
I have had the best experiences at Ja' Ross Spa for years! I absolutely love it there. I have a membership at this spa, another memebrship at Fiddler's Creek in Naples, FL. as well as a memebership at The Marco Island Ocean Resort- I truly LOVE to spa! Look them up!
Ja'Ross provides excellent services and everyone is really friendly. I love their double exfoliating facial. I love the hydrotherapy bath, all the wraps that they offer, and I practically live in their sauna!
My mom, sister, and I have gotten massages there for the last six years on Black Friday. It's a great tradition! They know how special our day is and the staff, as well as the new owener Derek, are EXTREMELY POLITE and accomidating!
AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I am not suprised to find such poor reviews for this business. I had an issue with the owner and manager which was incredibly disappointing and insulting.
I WAS a monthly massage member and completely enjoyed Kim as a therapist. She is excellent. After spending much money and time at JA Ross, not only for massage but hair and products also, I called to book a massage for my parents. I paid over the phone ($165.00) and was looking forward to the gift for them.
I recieved a phone call from the manager letting me know that her employee made a mistake and it would be an additional $5.00. When I questioned this I was told that she would be happy to cancel the appointment. I did so and left a voice mail for the owner to please call me back. I thought that he would see to my client satisfaction and apologize for the behavior of his staff.
This young man was beyond rude to me - he insisted on me paying for the extra $5.00 and told me that unless I pay it, they will not honor the apointment. He was very defensive and childish. He does not have the maturity to run a business and the online reviews reflect that.
After being a member for some time, I have had the opportunity to meet many staff. They are some of the saddest and stressed out people working at a salon I've ever seen. A few have admitted to me that it is a poor working environment.
Such a shame that this beautiful salon is being managed by a young man who does not care about his reputation in the community.
Poor Customer Service. I am sorry I kept my appointment. Their lack of professionalism at the front dest went right through to the staff at the Spa. Look all you have to offer is SERVICE, amenities abound in many places, and you failed miserably. I have never been so ignored or treated so rudely at a spa. First I had to wait for 15 minutes for someone to show up. No one told me where to go or what to do. Ten minutes after being told it wask okay to enter the jacuzzi, an employee walked by and said "Hey do you want this thing on?" I told a staff member that I might need assistance getting out of a therapy tub and she turned around and left!!! They had the nerve to ask me about a gratuity. My comment was, " I don't know who would get this as no one seemed interested in helping me." Go spend your money elsewhere.
Mediocre "customer service" for highscale prices. I must say this is not the worst but also not the best. It's not only that the stylists do not all have experience that qualifies for better than Great Clips prices, but the desk customer service is well below what a upper end salon should be. There is just soo much more as far as attitude, customer service and caring just a little, by doing the extra bending over backwards that would make this place shine. Right now I say they are really not much better than a Great Clips with nice atmosphere that you pay for. Also, if they dont have to include you on the daily deal they "WONT" because they dont go the extra mile to offer benefits that are right under their noses. They almost seem to take pleasure in telling you that you missed out on a deal. Little things are overlooked like not mentioning the free spa is a simple communication that's overlooked - maybe more training? Even the owners act like they cant do anything for you, forgetting these are "CUSTOMERS". If I really want to walk into a salon and feel like I'm family and even to go so far as treated royally, I will have to go elsewhere, the feeling here is that they even talk about you when you leave --very unprofessional. If I were the owner I would send my desk people to customer service training of some sort or at least verse them in things to say like; "Can I get you anything to drink" OR since the cut/color was off and you had to come in again, here's a coupon for $5 off your next visit. Also, dont assume the person who made the mistake is going to be able to fix it "ALONE". Get another person to watch so the customer doesn't feel like the mistakes are still coming--at least they were brave enough to come back to get it corrected. Owners please remember these are your "customers" not your enemies or bill collectors, and your attitudes rub off on the employees. Please dont take this write up the wrong way, but use it to benefit the salon. You owe it to your customers!
worst experience ever!. This spa was completely unprofessional and drastically overcharged me. When i went into the salon i asked the manager how much my service would cost, and she gave me the price, which was the same as i had seen in the service manual. However, when i was paying afterwards they charged me 50 dollars more. When i pointed out their error, they fought with me for a half hour, and black listed me from the salon and still made me pay the extra 50 dollars. avoid this salon at all cost if you don't feel like being cheated out of your money!!
Enjoyed Massage. My husband and I enjoyed a swedish massage. The "relaxation" room was nice and did relax us. We then were able to each have our own masseuse provide our massages at the same time in this huge room. My massage couldn't have been more perfect. My husband thought his was a little "rough". My therapist told me to let her know if she was to soft or to hard. His did not communicate anything to him but he could have told her to lighten up a little. She also put a steaming hot towel on his back without any advance warning. He said he almost went into shock! Mine did tell me what was coming. I enjoyed it very much and can't wait to go back again. I did not feel they were focused on me at the front desk as I expect to be treated like a queen when I pay salon prices. I'll overlook that since the massage was so nice.
Say Yes To A Day Of Relaxation. A friend won a spa package to the salon and she could take two friends for the day and I was one. I had such an amazing day. I received a facial, neck, back, massage, swiss shower, hair cut and style, manicure and pedicure. They did a great job transitioning me to each part of the day. Every one was very nice and made me feel like it was all about me,which was something you don't have very often. I will be back soon. Thanks again for a wonderful day.
Best Day Ever!. I won a spa package of the ultimate JaRoss experience which included a swiss shower, facial, neck, back, and shoulder massage, mini mani and pedi, and a cut and style! I was at the salon from 10am-4pm! Everyone i came into contact with was so amazing, nice and reassuring! I am soo pleased with all the services I received and will be returning soon! Great job ladies!
