Know what you're doing...

I have bought two vehicles from Hoop's, and am preparing to buy a third. I pay only in cash, so I have no worries about a repossession. I also take the vehicles to my mechanic before purchase, so I know of any issues before purchase, and how that should effect the purchase price.
You do need to know some basics about vehicles OR have a mechanic check the vehicle out. They are all sold as is, so any problems after purchase will be up to you to fix. He buys the majority of his vehicles from auction, and some are in pretty rough shape. But as I said, either know a little about cars or have a mechanic look it over first.
I also love that Hoop will wheel and deal when you bring cash in. I have never paid asking price and have always been satisfied with the price I paid.
A little wisdom goes a long way!

by jennaLane at Citysearch
JUNK cars! I bought a used car from this dealer, I week later the tranny went out! I asked him if he planned on fixing this, the responce was no, I found out that this car that I had was in a wreck which I was told that it wasnt, and after paying to have the tranny replaced, I was 1 week behind on my payment..... he took it... Never again.
- Pros: none
- Cons: cars with rebuilt titles, high miles, lies
